Following its Next @ Acer 2020 conference, Acer is launching 2 new versatile, high-performance, player-oriented Nitro laptops, the Acer Nitro 7 AN715-52 and Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44 with a 15-inch 144Hz IPS screen with NVIDIA Turing graphics card, Wi- Fi ax, SSD storage and Intel Comet Lake-H Hexa Core i7 or AMD Renoir Octo Core Ryzen 7 processor.
The Acer Nitro 7 AN715-52 is a new laptop PC built around an Intel Comet Lake-H processor up to the Hexa Core i7-10750H (2.6 GHz) with integrated graphics solution Intel UHD 630, up to 16 Go DDR4 2933MHz of RAM (2 slots, 32 GB Max) as well as storage 2 M.2 NVMe SSD slots of 256/512 GB or 1 TB with RAID 0 option .
This computer is also equipped with an NVIDIA Turing GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB GDDR6 dedicated graphics card or GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB GDDR6 with ray tracing.
On the display side, there is a 15.6 inch IPS Full HD (1920×1080) ComfyView anti-reflective screen, with 144Hz 3ms 300cd / m² option .
The new laptop Acer Nitro 7 AN715-52 offers an announced autonomy of 8 hours under Windows 10 with its 4 cell battery. It weighs 2.5 Kg and measures 363 x 255 x 19.9mm .
On the connection side, this Ultrabook is equipped with Wi-Fi ax wireless modules (2×2, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201) and Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI 2.0 video output, Gigabit Ethernet ports (Killer E2600) and headphone / microphone combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen2), 1 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2).
The Acer Nitro 7 AN715-52 is also equipped with an HD webcam with microphone, 2 speakers (2 x 2W) DTS: X Ultra, a backlit chiclet keyboard 4 RGB zones with numeric keypad as well as d ” a CoolBoost cooling system combining 2 fans with heat pipes and 4 ventilation grilles.
This Ultrabook is expected for September from 1299 euros .
It is accompanied by the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44 already mentioned which turns it under processor AMD Renoir either Hexa Core Ryzen 5 4600H (3.0 GHz, Vega 6) or Octo Core Ryzen 7 4800H (2.9 GHz, Vega 7).
It stands out with its graphics card options: GeForce GTX 1650 and GeForce GTX 1650 Ti , which will certainly disappoint those who are waiting at the brand for a Renoir associated with an RTX.
On the storage side, the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44 has 2 slots: 1 in M.2 NVMe SSD format for 256/512 GB or 1 TB or 2 TB SSD, and 1 in 2.5 inch format for 1 TB hard drive or 2 TB at 5400 rpm or 1 TB at 7200 rpm.
On the connection side, it also has Wi-Fi ax but Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (2×2).
This computer offers a 10 hour higher autonomy with its 4 cell battery. It measures 363.4 x 255 x 23.9mm and weighs 2.2 Kg with SSD, compared to 2.3 Kg with SSD hard drive.
The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44 is launched this June in France. Count on around 1200 euros for a model with 144Hz screen, Ryzen 7, 16 GB DDR4, 512 GB SSD and GTX 1650 Ti.
