Acer will soon launch its new Acer Aspire 5 A515-44 laptop with an AMD Renoir processor.
The new laptop Acer Aspire 5 A515-44 integrates an AMD Renoir 7nm processor and can in particular be equipped with the Hexa Core Ryzen 5 4500U (2.3 GHz) with integrated graphics part Radeon Vega 6 or the Octo Core Ryzen 7 4700U ( 2.0 GHz) with Vega 7.
The Renoir is associated with 16 GB DDR4 (max) of RAM as well as hybrid storage with SSD M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 up to 1 TB and hard drive up to 2 TB.
With a black or silver aluminum shell chassis, the Acer Aspire 5 A515-44 adopts a 15.6 inch IPS Full HD (1920×1080) ComfyView anti-glare screen with thin edges accompanied by Acer TrueHarmony speakers.
It has a backlit chiclet keyboard with numeric keypad and, optionally, a biometric reader for authentication by fingerprint recognition via Windows Hello technology.
The connections of the Acer Aspire 5 A515-44 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, Headphone / Mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.0, 1 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.1 Type-C .
As an option, this computer has a dedicated graphics card , the dedicated AMD Polaris Radeon RX 640 2 GB GDDR5 (close to an NVIDIA GeForce MX250) and then takes the reference Acer Aspire 5 A515-44G .
The announced autonomy of this PC which weighs 1.8 Kg and measures 363.4 x 250.5 x 17.95 mm is 10 hours with a 3-cell Li-Ion battery.
Acer positions its Aspire 5 A515-44 at an attractive basic price of 512 dollars. Its release is scheduled for June 2020.
