Like the entire IdeaPad 320 series, which is very well represented on the market, the Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15ABR sports a sober design on a redesigned shell for more robustness. Indeed, its monobloc case is coated with metallized finishes supposed to act as a shield of protection. Attention, we are far from the solidity of a metal frame, especially since the structure is entirely in polycarbonate and the assembly is not always very neat. The black lid contrasts with a silver / gray base with a brushed appearance for a rather elegant result. The measurements are average in its class and do not really encourage transportation.
Autonomy should be around 4 hours in Internet browsing via Wifi, it is little for its category.
At the center of its configuration, its hybrid storage solution will be decisive point of view reactivity. In principle, the 128 GB of the SSD will allow to host the operating system and part of the programs / games while the hard drive of 1000 GB will take care of the storage of your toy library, thus ensuring effective overall performance , fast on / off phases, and accelerated data copies.
Among its other strengths, the PC can rely on its full HD screen (1920 x 1080 px) which offers a higher display density than the standard (1366 x 768 px). This way, you can make the most of your High Definition content and modulate the display to suit your needs. In addition, its anti-reflectivesurface will ensure good visibility by lighting environment by limiting the appearance of reflections. As for the nature of the slab, it is probably TN with narrow viewing angles and a poor colorimetry.
Designed for multimedia use, the heart of this Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15ABR contains a latest-generation Quad-Core A10-9620P APU backed by 8GB of DDR4 RAM . As it stands, this combination is fully capable of running all the common tasks (surfing the Internet, office tools, video playback) with a small amplitude on photo editing missions. Namely that 8 GB of RAM promote multitasking, a plus for those who collect the tabs on the browser.
The presence of a dedicated graphics card AMD Radeon 530 is worth noting even if only a few casual players will be satisfied. Basically, the game in Full HD is not supported but if you lower the definition (1366 x 768 px), most low-demanding titles will turn in Low / Medium. It also helps to support the processor in the current multimedia use.
To finish with the connectivity, the level is correct with an SD card reader, an HDMI output and three USB ports including two USB 3.0 and a USB 3.1 Type-C . For data exchange, Gigabit Ethernet and recent generations of Wifi AC and Bluetooth 4.1 wireless modules are also on the menu. No DVD burner on the other hand.
