Toshiba launches a new 15-inch laptop that targets professionals, the Tecra Z50-E. Program, Kaby Lake Refresh Quad Core processor, SSD storage, Full HD IPS screen or USB 3.1 Type-C connection.
The new Toshiba Tecra Z50-E notebook is based on a Kaby Lake Refresh Quad Core processor with Intel UHD 620 graphics, a Core i5-8250U (1.6GHz) or a Core i5-8350U (1.7GHz) at night a Core i7-8550U (1.8 GHz), a Core i7-8650U (1.9 GHz).
Also included are up to 32GB DDR4 2400MHz on 2 slots, a SSD M.2 (SATA) storage up to 1TB, a DVD burner, a 2.0 megapixel webcam with microphone, 2 DTS Studio Sound speakers or an SD / SDHC / SDXC / MMC card reader.
Side display, place here to a 15.6-inch IPS Full HD screen (1920×1090) anti-reflective.
To appeal to professionals, a fingerprint reader with a TPM 2.0 security chip is expected as well as a backlit chiclet keyboard with keypad and a dual pointing system composed of the traditional touchpad and the most rare (and accurate) AccuPoint ( = Trackpoint).
In terms of connectivity, the Toshiba Tecra Z50-E includes wireless Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi ac modules (Intel Wireless-AC 8265), HDMI and VGA video outputs, combo audio ports Headphone / Mic and Ethernet Gigabit, 3 USB 3.0 (including 1 Sleep\’n\’Charge) and 1 USB 3.1 Type-C (Gen1).
This laptop weighs 2 kg, measures 379 x 258 x 23.35 mm and offers an announced autonomy of 8:40 under Windows 10 Pro with its 4-cell Li-Ion battery.

The first is based on a Core i5-8350U, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, while the second is based on a Core i7-8650U, 16GB DDR5 and a 512GB SSD.
