GearBox 500 Thunderbolt 3 PULSE RX 6600 XT eGFX Specs and Details

Sapphire offers to boost the graphics performance of a laptop with the announcement of the GearBox 500 PULSE RX 6600 XT Thunderbolt 3 eGFX. It is an external graphics card (eGFX) offered through a small box.

This GearBox 500 Thunderbolt 3 takes the form of a case to be positioned on a desk. Internally it has a power supply of 500 Watts and especially a gaming graphics card. We find a solution Pulse Radeon RX 6600 XT 8 GB. The manufacturer indicates that the design has been worked in order to improve the airflow and therefore the cooling. The goal is to give a boost to the performance of Thunderbolt-enabled devices (Mac or PC).

The machine is normally able to offer the necessary power for gaming in 1080P. The graphics solution can scale up to a 350W model from AMD or Nvidia. The native graphics card, a PULSE RX 6600 XT, is equipped with an imposing dual-fan cooling system.
