Chassis, connectors, screen of Lenovo Ideapad 3 15IIL05-100 (81WE00NXFR)
It sports an elegant and discreet design because it adopts a light silver frame with a brushed metal Platinum Gray finish.
In terms of connectivity, this versatile Ultrabook is well equipped except that it skips the USB 3.1 Type-C, connectivity expected on this type of thin and light PC.
In any case, there is a useful HDMI video output for easily connecting this computer to a TV or monitor for example, Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless modules for remote connections and communications, an audio port but also 3 USB (all compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0), USB 3.0 guaranteeing transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if USB 3.0 devices are plugged into them.
The chiclet keyboard does not have a key backlighting system, which will also disappoint some.
On the other hand, lovers of High Definition content such as videos will appreciate having to deal with a screen adopting a precise Full HD definition and a 16: 9 format. Anti-reflective coating, the screen also offers better visibility in a bright environment (eg outdoors) than a shiny panel.
Performance, battery life of Lenovo Ideapad 3 15IIL05-100 (81WE00NXFR)
The Lenovo Ideapad 3 15IIL05-100 (81WE00NXFR) is a 15-inch High Definition laptop designed for everyday versatile use on the go.
This Ultrabook is versatile thanks to its dual graphics solution consisting of a dedicated GeForce MX330 NVIDIA card and an Intel UHD 620 solution integrated into the processor. Both of course allow viewing of photos and videos and it\’s NVIDIA Optimus technology that automatically switches between the two in real time, as needed.
To promote autonomy, the Intel UHD 620 is preferred to the maximum by Optimus despite its modest benefits because it is energy efficient. In terms of autonomy, we can therefore expect about 6 hours of battery operation in light use.
Optimus activates the GeForce MX330 when it comes to performing graphics processing deemed too heavy for the Intel UHD 620. Equipped with Pascal architecture, the GeForce MX330 is able to support games that require little graphics resources. It will therefore not be suitable for demanding players.
The heart of this computer consists of a good amount of 8 GB RAM and a low power Ice Lake i5-1035G1 Quad Core processor. It provides good general performance able to satisfy many users.
This heart and the graphics card are accompanied by SSD storage. It guarantees daily operation that is much more responsive and fluid than a hard drive. Thus, thanks to the SSD, we take advantage for example of much faster software / game launches as well as starts / stops, but also a faster arrival on the cards of online games.

Remember that an SSD is much faster than a hard drive but also more energy efficient, more robust and silent. Here, the SSD is in step with the hard drives in terms of capacity thanks to its 512 GB.
If, however, additional space is required, an external storage unit can be used. Opting for a USB 3.0 device then represents an interesting solution to benefit from fast transfers.
Finally, it should be noted that the transport of this Ultrabook is facilitated by its weight under the 2 kg mark and its finesse.
