New versatile thin and light laptops, the LG Ultra PC 14U70Q and LG Ultra PC 16U70Q with IPS Full HD 16/10th screen run on Windows 11 with AMD Barcelo processor up to the Octo Core Ryzen 7, SSD storage or Wi-Fi ax and USB-C connectivity.
The LG Ultra PC 14U70Q is a new laptop that weighs 1.29 Kg and measures 313.9 x 220.45 x 16.3 mm.
It runs on Windows 11 with a 72Whr battery and is equipped with a fingerprint reader allowing biometric authentication via Windows Hello using a TPM security chip.
This laptop is built around an AMD Barcelo APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) processor – equivalent to a Cezanne Refresh – low-power Hexa Core Ryzen 5 5625U (2.3 GHz) or Octo Core Ryzen 7 5725U (2.0 GHz), both integrating the Radeon Vega integrated graphics solution.
The heart of this computer also consists of 8/16 GB LPDDR4x 4266MHz of low-power RAM as well as a 512 GB or 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD storage (2280 format).
The new LG Ultra PC 14U70Q also offers Wi-Fi 6 ax connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI, audio combo Headphone / Microphone, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1), 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen1) and a microSD card reader.
Equipped with an HD webcam, 2 speakers (2 x 1.5W) DTS X Ultra and a backlit chiclet keyboard, this laptop offers an advertised battery life of 21 hours in video playback (150cd/m², Wi-Fi off).
It entrusts its display to a 14-inch 16/10th IPS Full HD (1920×1200) 45% NTSC 300cd/m² anti-glare screen.
The LG Ultra PC 16U70Q adopts a larger 16-inch format with 250cd/m² screen. It weighs 1.6 Kg, measures 356.3 x 248.6 x 16.3 mm and welcomes on the right of its chiclet keyboard a numeric keypad.
LG plans to launch its LG Ultra PC 14U70Q and LG Ultra PC 16U70Q in the coming weeks in Europe, respectively from 1199 euros and 1399 euros.
