A thin and light versatile laptop with a discreet black design, the MSI GF63 11UC-026FR Thin 15-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare that improves fluidity in games thanks to its 144Hz frequency is nomadic with its 7-hour battery life. This multimedia Ultrabook benefits from a powerful Hexa Core i5 Intel Tiger Lake-H processor that accelerates processing like the NVIDIA Ampere GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card able to support many games. This laptop designed to create and play also benefits from enhanced responsiveness by its fast SSD storage, a backlit keyboard (however without a numeric keypad) or connectivity with Wi-Fi ax and USB-C.

With its thin black and light aluminum design with angular lines and touches of red, this creator-oriented gaming laptop sports a relatively elegant and discreet look.
It is cooled by Cooler Boost 3 technology using fans, heat pipes and air vents. It offers 3 predefined operating modes (Sport, Comfort and Eco) between which you can switch via the SHIFT function.
This versatile multimedia laptop is equipped with good connectivity including Wireless Modules Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi ax(newer and more powerful than Wi-Fi ac)to communicate and connect remotely, a convenient HDMI video output (positioned on the back) to easily connect it to a TV or monitor for example, Ethernet and audio ports, 1 USB-C not to mention 3 USB all compatible with both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, USB 3.0 guaranteeing transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if you connect USB 3.0 devices.
The chiclet keyboard can be backlit which is very convenient so that you can better distinguish its keys in case of reduced ambient light.
On the other hand, we notice the absence of a numeric keypad on the right while this feature is standard from 15 inches, which will regret those who regularly enter numbers.
Thanks to its IPS technology, the screen has significant viewing angles, both horizontal and vertical. It is also adorned with a refresh rate of 144Hz which enhances the fluidity in games compared to the standard 60Hz. In addition, the screen lends itself well to the display of videos and more generally High Definition content because it adopts a 16/9th format associated with a precise Full HD definition. In addition, as it is treated anti-reflective, the screen is also more readable than a shiny slab in bright environments (eg outside).
Performance, autonomy of the MSI GF63 11UC-026FR Thin
The MSI GF63 11UC-026FR Thin is a versatile 15-inch thin and light performance mobile laptop focused on creation and gaming.
On the graphics processing side, we are dealing with the Intel Iris Xe solution integrated into the processor and the GeForce RTX 3050 dedicated card. Embedded NVIDIA Optimus technology automatically switches between the two in real time as needed.
Optimus favors as much as possible the Intel Iris Xe despite its modest performance because it is energy-efficient and thus promotes autonomy compared to the GeForce RTX 3050 certainly more greedy but in return more powerful.
The GeForce RTX 3050 is enabled by Optimus to perform graphics processing deemed too heavy for the Iris Xe. Thanks to the GeForce RTX 3050, you can run many games on this thin and light laptop as long as you agree to settings under the opus greedy in graphic resources to get a good gameplay.
Obviously whether with the Iris Xe or the GeForce RTX 3050, it is of course possible to watch photos and videos on this versatile Ultrabook.
The Iris Xe is more precisely housed in the Hexa Core i5-11400H, Intel Tiger Lake-H processor that delivers solid overall performance combined with 8 GB of RAM.
Built around an Intel HM570 chipset, the Hexa Core i5 Tiger Lake-H ensures faster processing than a Quad Core processor under CPU-intensive work using multi-core, such as photo editing, video editing or 3D rendering.
As for storage, MSI opts here for an SSD whose capacity of 512 GB corresponds to the standard among hard drives. But compared to the latter, an SSD is silent, less energy-consuming, more robust and much faster.
Concretely, the SSD guarantees a much better fluidity and responsiveness on a daily basis than a simple hard disk. Thanks to the SSD, we obtain, for example, much faster starts/stops, processing and launches of games/software or a faster arrival on the maps of online games.
Of course in the event that 512 GB is too fair, we can rely on an external storage unit. Favoring a USB-C/USB 3.0 device is then an interesting option to obtain fast transfers.
We also have the possibility to add a second SSD or a hard disk directly in the PC thanks to the free 2.5-inch slot.
As for the autonomy of this versatile multimedia Ultrabook designed to create and play easy to carry thanks to its contained weight and finesse, count on about 7 hours on battery in light use. But due in particular to its finesse and the high-performance components on board, it heats up and is heard when it is strongly pushed (eg treatments, games).
