New Intel mobile processors filter on the web, Intel Core 9 series to integrate future laptops.
While Intel has not yet officially communicated on Core 9 series processors, early models are filtering on the Net for laptops.
It is more precisely a Lenovo IdeaPad S530-13IWL which makes us discover these new references: Core i7-9550U , Core i5-9250U and Core i3-9130U .
As this computer is advertised either with these references, or with Whiskey Lake and it bears a mention Whiskey Lake in its reference (the “WL”), we can assume that these new series 9 mobile processors belong to a future generation Whiskey Lake “Refresh”. Especially since Lenovo mentions only the integration of an “8th generation” processor. It would therefore not be 9th generation processors strictly speaking.
