This versatile multimedia laptop integrates a good wired connector consisting of a convenient HDMI video output to easily connect it to a TV or monitor for example, an audio port but also 3 USBs including 2 USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible) for transfers up to 5 times faster than USB 2.0 if USB 3.0 devices are plugged in.
On the other hand, if we find Bluetooth 5.0 on the wireless connectivity side, the Wi-Fi 5 ac standard, which is older and less efficient than Wi-Fi 6 ax, disappoints.
When you’re not using the webcam, you appreciate being able to hide it behind a cover that can be slid out in front of it to preserve privacy.
Backlighting the keys on the keyboard is of course possible so that you can better distinguish the keys in low light environments.
The screen benefits from wide viewing angles, both horizontally and vertically, thanks to its IPS technology. It’s a shame that it’s not top-of-the-range because we would have obtained a more faithful colorimetry than average.

Multimedia enthusiasts and creators alike will particularly appreciate this core that unfolds its full potential in RAM and CPU-intensive areas taking advantage of multi-cores. We think in particular of video editing or photo editing, work for which we get much faster processing than with 8/16 GB DDR4/5 as well as a classic Quad/Hexa Core processor.
However, graphics acceleration of processing is not on the agenda of this laptop since it does not have a dedicated graphics card.
If you can watch HD photos and videos thanks to the Iris Xe, you have to make do with light games with this Ultrabook.
As the storage is obviously entrusted to an SSD, processing, starting/stopping and launching applications are fast, as is the arrival on the maps of online games.
Generally speaking, a fast, robust and quiet SSD boosts the responsiveness and fluidity of a laptop on a daily basis.
Here we find a 1000 GB SSD, a substantial capacity to install and store a lot of software and files, including personal creations if you wish.
