New thin and light laptops, the MSI Modern 14 C7M and MSI Modern 15 B7M in elegant black, silver or blue design in 14 and 15-inch format adopt an AMD Ryzen 7000 Barcelo Refresh processor, SSD storage or connectivity with Wi-Fi 6E and USB-C.
The MSI Modern 14 C7M is a new compact and lightweight laptop that measures 319.9 x 223 x 19.35 mm and weighs 1.4 Kg.
It runs on Windows 11 (Pro) with a 3-cell 39.3Whr battery associated with a 65W adapter.
This new laptop is based on an AMD Ryzen 7000 processor and more specifically a low-power Barcelo Refresh Ryzen 7030U series with integrated Radeon Vega graphics, like the Ryzen 7 7730U Octo Core with Radeon Vega 8.
The core also consists of a maximum soldered RAM of 16GB DDR4 3200MHz and M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage with a maximum capacity of 1TB.
In addition, the MSI Modern 14 C7M integrates Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2), Bluetooth 5, HDMI 2.1 (4K@60Hz), headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 2.0, 1 USB 3.2 (Gen2) and 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2) as well as a microSD card reader.
Its display is entrusted to a 14-inch IPS Full HD (1920×1080) anti-glare screen, topped by a 720p HD webcam with microphone.
There is also a chiclet keyboard backlit in white (1.5mm stroke) and 2 speakers (2 x 2W).
Fully flat 180° openable, the new MSI Modern 14 C7M adopts a robust Classis Black or Urban Silver design due to its compliance with the MIL-STD-810G military resistance standard.
Count 899 euros for an MSI Modern 14 C7M with Ryzen 7, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD.
The brand also launches its big brother MSI Modern 15 B7M in a more comfortable format allowing it to accommodate on the right of the chiclet keyboard a numeric keypad.
It measures 359 x 241 x 19.9 mm for a weight of 1.75 Kg and is announced in Classic Black and Star Blue designs.
Equipped with a 3-cell 39.3Whr or 53.8Whr battery, the MSI Modern 15 B7M has a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screen.
