HP 17-cn2135nf chassis, connectors, display

With its relatively thin and light design, it has an elegant and discreet look.

This versatile laptop has good connectivity including Wi-Fi 6 ax and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless modules for remote connection and communication, a convenient HDMI video output to easily connect it to a monitor or TV for example, an audio port, 1 USB-C or 2 USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible) guaranteeing transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 when plugged in USB 3.0 devices.

In case of low ambient light, we appreciate being able to backlight the chiclet keyboard to better distinguish its keys.

With an anti-reflective coating, the screen is more readable than a glossy panel in bright environments (e.g. outdoors) while being easier on the eyes over a long period of time.
The screen is suitable for Full HD content such as videos due to its 16:9 aspect ratio, while its horizontal and vertical viewing angles are important thanks to its IPS technology.
However, it is not top-of-the-range. As a result, colorimetry is standard here.

HP 17-cn2135nf performance, battery life

The HP 17-cn2135nf is a relatively thin and light 17-inch laptop intended for everyday all-round use.

Powerful in everyday use as well as in office automation and Internet surfing, this Ultrabook allows you to watch photos and videos but also to play modest games.

As a bonus, it is suitable for small multimedia processing using RAM and multi-cores, such as light video encoding or photo editing.

To perform more CPU-intensive and/or graphics-intensive work, opt for a PC based on a non-low-power processor and/or an appropriate dedicated graphics card.

There is no dedicated graphics card embedded here, as all the graphics are entrusted to the Iris Xe solution housed in the processor.

It is the Core i7-1255U that houses the Iris Xe, a low-power Intel Alder Lake processor with 10 hybrid cores. It is coupled here with 16 GB of RAM as well as SSD storage that provides much better fluidity and responsiveness on a daily basis than a hard drive.

It must be said that an SSD is much faster than a hard drive but also consumes less energy, is silent and more resistant to shocks.
As a result, thanks to the SSD, start-ups/shutdowns, processing and application launches are faster, while online games arrive on the maps faster.

HP offers a 512 GB SSD, a capacity similar to what many models on the market offer and the standard of hard drives.
However, if you need more space, you can expand it with the help of an external storage module, preferably a USB 3.0/USB-C device for fast transfers.
