The Acer Aspire 3 A315-34-C16W is a 15-inch High Definition laptop designed for basic everyday use.
It is indeed built around 4 GB of RAM and a very low-power Intel Gemini Lake Refresh entry-level Celeron Dual Core N4020U processor. The latter quickly shows itself sluggish under applications that are a little greedy in processor resources, which results in slowdowns.
On a daily basis, this duo is therefore suitable for basic everyday use, such as content multitasking, office automation and surfing the Internet.
While of course it allows you to watch photos and videos thanks to the modest features of the Intel UHD 600 solution integrated into the processor, this thin and light laptop is not designed for games and more generally demanding graphics work. Because logically with regard to its positioning, it does not embed a dedicated graphics card.
On the storage side, Acer has chosen an SSD. It has the advantage of ensuring much better fluidity and responsiveness than a hard drive on a daily basis. As a result, this computer offers much faster starts / stops and launches of applications, for example.
The SSD is a real asset for this PC, supporting its heart well. Its capacity of 128 GB is however (much) lower than the standard of hard drives.
