Versatile ultrabook with an original blue design, the Acer Aspire 3 A315-55G-55UT with 15.6-inch Full HD anti -glare screen takes advantage of fast SSD storage which enhances its responsiveness. Thin and light, it houses a Core i5 Comet Lake processor, a good amount of RAM and a GeForce MX230 graphics card for good overall performance and the ability to run games that are not too demanding. Too bad, however, that it ignores the USB 3.1 Type-C.

It has an elegant and original design with its thin and light blue frame that can be opened at 180 ° completely flat.
This versatile Ultrabook has a correct connection, but we regret to note the absence of USB 3.1 Type-C.
We find integrated a practical HDMI video output to easily connect this PC to a TV or a monitor, for example, wireless Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 4.2 modules for remote connections and communications, Ethernet and audio ports as well as 3 USBs all compatible with both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, USB 3.0 guaranteeing transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if USB 3.0 peripherals are plugged in.

The Acer Aspire 3 A315-55G-55UT is a 15-inch thin and light 15-inch High Definition laptop designed for everyday general-purpose use.
The general performance it provides is able to satisfy many users as it relies on a low-power Comet Lake Core i5-10210U processor coupled with a good amount of 8 GB RAM.
It is of course possible to watch photos and videos on this versatile Ultrabook thanks to the Intel UHD 620 graphics part integrated into the Comet Lake Quad Core i5 as well as the dedicated GeForce MX230 card.
In practice, the Intel UHD 620 is called upon to the maximum by the onboard NVIDIA Optimus technology which determines in real time the graphics needs according to the tasks performed by the user. When the capacity of the energy-efficient Intel UHD 620 is insufficient, Optimus automatically switches to the more power-hungry and powerful GeForce MX230.
The GeForce MX230 is able to run games that are not too demanding as long as you agree to settings under titles that are greedy in graphics resources in order to obtain good gameplay.
On the storage side, Acer opts here for an SSD. The integrated SSD rivals hard drives in terms of capacity thanks to its 512 GB while being quiet, less energy-consuming, more robust and much faster.
Result thanks to the SSD, we benefit from start / stop, processing and launch of applications much faster than with a simple hard drive.
What if we need more space? You can use an external storage unit such as a USB 3.0 device for fast transfers.
A 2.5 inch slot should also be free to add a second SSD or a hard drive.
As for autonomy, we can expect about 5 hours of battery operation in light use for Ultrabook whose thinness and controlled weight facilitate transport.
