New 14- and 15-inch Ultrabooks, the Acer Aspire Vero AV14-51 and Acer Aspire Vero AV15-52 boast a thin and light eco-designed chassis. These laptops run Windows 11 with an Intel Alder Lake processor, SSD storage or USB-C Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi ax connectivity.
The Acer Aspire Vero AV14-51 is a new Ultrabook that weighs 1.5 Kg, measures 328.67 x 223.57 x 17.9 mm.
It runs on Windows 11 with an Intel Alder Lake processor up to the Core i7
However Acer does not specify its range and it will be a low-power model either from an Alder Lake-U to the Core i7-1255U (10 cores, 1.7 GHz, 2P 8E), or Alder Lake-P up to the Core i5-1240P (12 cores, 1.7 GHz, 4P 8E) or Core i7-1260P, both with integrated iris Xe graphics.
In any case, the Alder Lake is associated with a soldered RAM up to 16 GB LPDDR4x 4266MHz as well as an M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage with a maximum capacity of 1 TB.
There is also a Wi-Fi 6E ax, Bluetooth 5, HDMI, audio combo Headphone / Microphone, 2 USB 3.2 and 1 USB-C Thunderbolt 4.
In addition, the Acer Aspire Vero AV14-51 is equipped with a backlit chiclet keyboard, 2 speakers and a fingerprint reader housed in the OceanGlass touchpad for biometric authentication via Windows Hello technology.
The Vero range stands out for its design which is ecological with 30% of the chassis in recycled plastic including 50% for the keys of the keyboard and the touchpad, while the packaging is 100% recycled plastic, the paper used being 85%.
The new Vero laptops use in their design a proportion of PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled), OBP (Ocean-bound Plastic) plastic and are packaged in recyclable packaging. PCs are easy to disassemble, simplifying the repair or update process to help extend their lifespan
Planned in Cobblestone Grey (grey) and Mariana Blue (blue), the Acer Aspire Vero AV14-51 will be marketed next August from 899 euros.
It weighs 1.8 Kg and measures 363.4 x 238.4 x 17.9 mm, which allows it to house on the right of the keyboard a numeric keypad.
