Acer announces its new generation of thin and light Acer Aspire Vero AV15-53P laptops with an eco-friendly design made of recycled materials. On the program, Intel Raptor Lake processor, SSD storage or Thunderbolt 4 connectivity
The new Acer Aspire Vero AV15-53P is a thin and light Ultrabook that adopts a design that is ecological.
Because it is designed with 40% recycled materials and more precisely post-consumer recycled plastic, compared to 30% for previous generations.
It is based on a 13th generation Intel Core Raptor Lake low-power hybrid processor Raptor Lake-U (15W) Core i3-1315U, Core i5-1335U or Core i7-1355U, all housing the Iris Xe graphics module.
In addition, it integrates at its heart up to 16 GB LPDDR5 5200MHz of soldered RAM as well as a dual M.2 NVMe SSD storage slot with a maximum capacity of 1 TB.
Featuring an OceanGlass touchpad, it has a backlit chiclet keyboard with numeric keypad, 2 speakers and a 1440p QHD webcam with mic.
But also optional fingerprint reader to authenticate biometrically via Windows Hello.
The Acer Aspire Vero AV15-53P also benefits from a 15.6-inch IPS Full HD (1920×1080) 16/9th 100% sRGB screen.
It is also equipped with connectivity, mostly positioned on the left, Wi-Fi 6 ax (2×2), Bluetooth 5, HDMI 2.1, headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1) and 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4.
The new robust Acer Aspire Vero AV15-53P laptop – which supports 20Kg of pressure, at least 30,00 opening/closing cycles and drops up to 28cm – will be marketed in May in green, blue or gray from 899 euros.
