The Next @ Acer 2020 conference yesterday was an opportunity for the brand to announce new Ultrabooks ConceptD3 and 2-in-1 convertible into ConceptD3 Ezel Tablet. In the program, 14 or 15 inch IPS Pantone screen, NVIDIA Turing GTX graphics card, Comet Lake-H processor, SSD storage, Wi-Fi ax connection or battery life up to 20 hours, all in a white chassis.
The new Acer ConceptD 3 Ultrabook is built around an Intel Comet Lake-H Quad Core i5-10300H (2.5 GHz) or Hexa Core i7-10750H (2.6 GHz) processor, both with an integrated graphics solution Intel UHD 630.
This Ultrabook also integrates up to 16 GB DDR4 of RAM, an M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD up to 1 TB as well as a Full HD IPS screen (1920×1080) Corning Gorilla Glass 5 400cd / m² ComfyView 100% sRGB Pantone certified with Delta
Connectivity side, there are Wi-Fi ax modules (2×2, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201) and Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI 2.0 and mini-DisplayPort video outputs, 1 headphone / microphone combo audio port, 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2) Thunderbolt 3 as well as an SD 7.0 card reader.
HD webcam with microphone and sound solution 2 DTS X speakers: Ultra Acer TrueHarmony are also there, as is a backlit chiclet keyboard (amber, 1.55mm stroke). A biometric reader to authenticate by fingerprint recognition via Windows Hello is also part of it, as is a TPM 2.0 security solution.
The NVIDIA Turing GeForce GTX 1650 and GeForce GTX 1650 Ti dedicated graphics cards are optional .
Note that the brand also communicates on a ConceptD 3 Pro with an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 professional graphics card .
The noise generated by the PC is less than 40dB (all comm, thanks in particular to the cooling of 2 fans and Vortex Flow design .
This Ultrabook is available in Acer ConceptD 3 CN314-72 of 14 inches which measures 326.7 x 229 x 17.9mm . It weighs 1.38 kg and its weight climbs to 1.44 kg in version with graphics card. It offers an announced autonomy of 16 hours under Windows 10 (Pro).
Adopting also a white metallic chassis, the Acer ConceptD 3 CN315-72 adopts a 15 inch format and for all that ignores a numeric keypad while it is a standard in this format. However, it has a bonus Gigabit Ethernet port .
It measures 358.5 x 249 x 17.9mm and weighs 1.64 Kg , or 1.7 Kg in Acer ConceptD 3 CN315-72G version with graphics card. It offers an announced autonomy of 20 hours .
The Acer ConceptD 3 is announced for October in France, from 1399 euros .
More upscale, the Acer ConceptD 3 Ezel is also scheduled for October, but from 2199 euros .
It stands out for its screen which can switch to the front , and this more or less as desired, for example to tilt the screen and hide the keyboard to end up just with the touchpad part, or in Tablet mode.
During the presentation of the ConceptD 3 Ezel, an artist explained that she found this concept practical for working on software like Photoshop, Premiere or AfterEffects. It particularly targets designers .
The screen takes advantage of the multi-touch touch technology usable with the fingers or the supplied Active Pen (4096 pressure levels) and which has its own housing integrated in the front of the chassis, which is practical for storing it and always have it with the PC.

The Acer ConceptD 3 Ezel CC315-72 of 15 inches measuring 358 x 249 x 24.9mm and weighs 1.95 Kg , or 2.02 Kg version Acer ConceptD 3 Ezel CC315-72G with graphics card.
Its announced battery life is 18 hours .
