The Acer Swift 3 SF314-56-5925 is a compact, high definition notebook for everyday mobile use.

It benefits from a last generation low-power Whiskey Lake i5-8265U quad core processor that delivers good overall performance to satisfy many users.

However, as it is associated with a standard amount of RAM of 4 GB, this Ultrabook shows its limits in multitasking. Those who wish to be more comfortable in this area will have everything to gain by adding a DDR4 bar on a free slot, or opt for a better equipped model in this area.

As it skips a dedicated GPU, this Ultrabook is not suitable for heavy graphics like games. It is the Intel UHD 620 solution integrated into the Quad Core i5 which is responsible for all graphics. Its benefits are very modest but it allows of course to look at photos and videos.

Thanks to its dedicated SSD storage, this Ultrabook is much more responsive than if it were equipped with a simple hard disk. This results in faster startups and launches of applications.

Certainly with its 256 GB, the SSD offers a capacity lower than standard hard drives. It is however sufficient for many uses. And in case 256 GB are too accurate, we can always rely on an external storage unit. Opting for a USB 3.0 device is an interesting solution because it benefits from fast transfers.

Finally, this Ultrabook is easy to carry because of its compactness and weight. Side autonomy, we can expect to hold 8 hours on battery in light use.
