It seduces first by its neat design with Full HD screen and then by the possibilities it offers with its 10th generation Intel Core i3 Turbo processor, its good amount of RAM and its responsive SSD storage of good capacity (512 GB). On the other hand, we should not expect anything from the small battery in terms of endurance and it is a thicker for a 14 inches in 2020. The Asus R409JA-EK261T does not revolutionize design codes with its silver tones and rounded lines. However, the result is neat and neutral, with no texture effect. The silver keyboard is also not backlit, which can interfere with the perception of the lettering in sunny weather.

Be careful, we stay on a Dual Core i3 which is mainly intended for everyday office automation with Web browsing, Office suite, video playback, light touch-ups, etc. It’s hard to imagine performing more demanding tasks on this PC, even if the 8 GB RAM opens the way to multitasking.

In terms of autonomy, do not expect more than 4 hours due to its small battery (32 Whr). It’s too limited to hope to work in mobility.
