The Asus ROG Strix G G531GU-AL257T carries a characteristic design with its diagonal which splits the brushed effects of the aluminum cover in two putting forward the ROG logo backlit on the side. The chassis is drawn in a beveled silhouette with aggressive edges and geometric shapes. Asus declares to have worked with BMW Designworks Group for the lines of its G531 to answer a main problem: ventilation. At first glance, the aesthetics are sober with a black color but wait to turn on the PC, the lower part of the base lights up, like the backlit keyboard with 1 multicolored zone and the logo on the back for an effect Christmas tree insured.
Small precision that is important, to preserve the balance of its borderless screen, Asus has simply removed the webcam . This is detrimental even if its impractical positioning on the GL504 had left us a little perplexed.

The viewing angles are excellent thanks to the IPS panel , the Full HD definition (1920 x 1080 px) is the most suitable for players and allows you to get the best from your High Definition content while the mat processing prevents the brightness ambient to be reflected on the screen, improving the playing comfort (especially in dark scenes).
The PC provides an adequate connection but not as diverse as expected, gathered on the left side and at the back. There is a Gigabit Ethernet port, an HDMI 2.0 output, three USB 3.1 ports and a USB Type-C (Gen2) port (without Thunderbolt 3 support). The latest generations of Wifi AC and Bluetooth 5.0 modules are also on the menu. So we say goodbye to the MiniDisplay Port and the SD card reader.
Performance, autonomy of the Asus ROG Strix G G531GU-AL257T
When you are interested in this type of model, it is first the graphics card and the capabilities of the PC in play that are important.
