Chassis, connectors, display of the Asus VivoBook Go 14 S1404FA-NK429W
Fully flat 180° and certified to the MIL-STD-810H military ruggedness standard, this versatile laptop can be recharged to 60% in 49 minutes and has a sleek look with a compact black design that is thin and light.
This laptop has a decent connectivity including 1 USB-C, an audio port, 5 ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 modules for wireless remote connections and communications, a practical HDMI video output to easily connect it to a monitor or TV for example but also 2 USBs including 1 USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible) guaranteeing transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 when plugged in peripherals USB 3.0 are connected to it.
An unusual feature given the positioning of this computer, a backlighting system is fitted to the chiclet keyboard. It can be activated when you need to better discern keys, for example in dim light.
Another nice feature, especially for those who enter numbers regularly, is the NumberPad technology. Because once activated, it transforms the touchpad into a touch-sensitive numeric keypad.
However, as with any model smaller than 15 inches, there is not enough space to fit a physical numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard.
With an anti-reflective coating, the screen is more readable than a glossy panel in bright environments (e.g. outdoors).
In addition, the screen lends itself well to the display of videos and more generally High Definition content due to its 16:9 format and Full HD definition.
