In terms of connectivity, this laptop is well equipped with its USB 3.1 Type-C, its practical HDMI video output for easy connection to a TV or monitor, for example, its wireless Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 4.1 modules for remote connections and communications, its audio port or its 3 USBs all compatible with both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, USB 3.0 guaranteeing transfers taking place up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if a device USB 3.0 is plugged into it.
The screen will be of interest to lovers of High Definition content and especially videos because of its precise Full HD definition and 16: 9 format. Thanks to its anti-reflective coating, the screen is also more readable than a shiny panel in a bright environment (eg outdoors).
Performance, battery life of Asus VivoBook M509DA-EJ707T
The Asus VivoBook M509DA-EJ707T is a lightweight 15-inch High Definition laptop for everyday general-purpose use.
It stands out for its good amount of above-average 12 GB RAM. It is very useful in multitasking and supports the processor, a Quad Core AMD APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) Ryzen 7 3700U low consumption Picasso.
The good general performances delivered by this duo are able to satisfy many users, especially since it also allows you to watch photos and videos but also to play titles that do not require much graphic resources.
No dedicated graphics card is however on-board, but the Radeon RX Vega 10 solution integrated in the Ryzen 7 is positioned at the level of an entry-level dedicated graphics card and is significantly more powerful than the UHD 620 of Intel processors.
On the storage side, Asus has chosen a silent SSD that consumes less energy than a hard drive, is more shock resistant and much faster. In addition here, we are dealing with a 512 GB SSD, a capacity that rivals the standard of hard drives.
On a daily basis, the SSD guarantees much better fluidity and responsiveness than a hard drive. It makes it possible to obtain, for example, much faster starts / stops and launches of applications.

Of course, if you need additional space, you can turn to an external storage unit. Opting for a USB 3.0 / USB-C device then represents a good solution to obtain fast transfers.
As for the autonomy of this computer which is certainly not as easily transportable as an Ultrabook but whose weight under the bar of 2 kg is interesting to take it with you, bet on about 4 hours of battery operation in light use for this PC whose transport is facilitated by the weight of less than 2 kg, without being as easy as an Ultrabook.
