Chassis, connectors, screen of the HP 15s-fq2008nf
With its thin and light Natural Silver design, this laptop that can be recharged to about 50% in 45 minutes has a sober and elegant look.
It is equipped with good connectivity with its USB-C, its convenient HDMI video output to easily connect it to a TV or monitor for example, its Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 4.2 modules for wireless connections and remote communications, its Ethernet and audio ports or its 2 USB 3.0 (compatible with both USB 2.0) guaranteeing transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if you plug in peripherals USB 3.0.
Thanks to its precise Full HD definition and 16/9th aspect ratio, the screen lends itself well to the display of High Definition content such as videos. Thanks to its anti-reflective treatment, the screen is also more readable in bright environments (e.g. outside) than a shiny slab.
Performance, battery life of the HP 15s-fq2008nf
The HP 15s-fq2008nf is a thin and light 15-inch High Definition laptop for everyday versatile use.
It benefits from a silent SSD storage but also more robust than a hard disk, less energy consuming and much faster.
Here we find a 512 GB SSD, capacity in line with the standard of hard drives. But if you need more space, you can obviously use an external storage unit. Favoring a USB-C/USB 3.0 device is then an interesting option to obtain fast transfers.
As a result, the SSD guarantees a much better fluidity and responsiveness on a daily basis than a simple hard disk. Thanks to the SSD, we benefit from much faster starts/stops as well as software launches or a faster arrival on the cards of online games.
Despite the lack of a dedicated embedded graphics card, you can indeed run light games on this versatile Ultrabook, thanks to the Intel G4 graphics solution integrated into the processor. Its performance is indeed superior to that of the classic Intel UHD 620. The Intel G4 also allows of course to watch photos and videos.
It takes place within the Core i3-1115G4, low-power Tiger Lake processor here associated with 8 GB of RAM to provide good performance in everyday use, such as office automation and Internet surfing.
Note, however, that the Core i3 shows its limits under demanding software, like the AMD Ryzen 3 and less powerful processors.
As for the autonomy of this Ultrabook whose thinness and weight content facilitate transport, count on about 6 hours of operation on battery in light use.
