HP is offering its new range of HP ProBook 600 G8 Ultrabooks powered by an Intel Tiger Lake processor. On the program for the HP ProBook 630 G8, HP ProBook 640 G8 and HP ProBook 650 G8, NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics card, SSD storage or even USB-C, Wi-Fi ax and 4G connectivity.
The new range of HP ProBook 600 G8 laptops is built around a low-power Intel Tiger Lake Dual Core i3-1115G4 (1.7 GHz) processor with Intel UHD graphics solution or Quad Core i5-1135G7 (2.4 GHz) and Quad Core i7-1165G7 (1.2 GHz), with Iris Xe graphics solution .
The HP ProBook 600 G8 series adopts up to 64GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD storage , including Optane H10 512GB SSD 32GB Optane module .
On the connection side, there are wireless modules Wi-Fi ax (2×2, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201) or Wi-Fi ax (2×2, Intel Wireless-AC 9560) and Bluetooth 5.0, with an HDMI 1.4b video output , a Headphone / Microphone combo audio port, 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 3.1 Type-C (Gen2).
Also included is a SmartCard Reader, an HD webcam with microphone, 2 speakers and a chiclet keyboard with backlighting option . The screen adopts a WXGA HD (1366×768) or Full HD (1920×1080) definition with a brightness ranging from 250cd / m² to 1000cd / m² and a maximum color coverage of 72% NTSC.
A TPM 2.0 security chip is present and as an option, there is a biometric reader for authentication by fingerprint recognition via Windows Hello technology.
Several models are planned in the HP ProBook 600 G8 range with a 45Whr battery, starting with the HP ProBook 630 G8 with 13.3 inch screen . It weighs 1.28 Kg and measures 15.95 mm thick.
The HP ProBook 640 G8 adopts a 14-inch format . It weighs 1.375 Kg and measures 19.95mm thick.
And the HP ProBook 650 G8 in 15 inch format weighs 1.74 kg and measures 23.95mm thick. It is also equipped with a numeric keypad .
Optionally, the HP ProBook 640 G8 and HP ProBook 650 G8 can be equipped with a 4G / LTE module (Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced Cat 9 WWAN) with SIM slot.
As standard, they integrate 1 additional USB 3.0 (including 3 USB in total) and a Gigabit Ethernet port .
In addition, they can optionally include the recent NVIDIA GeForce MX450 mobile graphics card .
The new HP ProBook 630 G8, HP ProBook 640 G8, and HP ProBook 650 G8 Ultrabooks from the HP ProBook 600 G8 slim and light notebook line are expected in November 2020 at a starting price of $ 1,169.
