HP unveils its future range of HP ZBook Firefly G11 14- and 16-inch laptops with Meteor Lake processor with Intel Arc or AMD Hawk Point Ryzen 8040HS, NVIDIA RTX A500 graphics card, PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, OLED panel and 5G connectivity.

The HP ZBook Firefly G11 is anew range of laptops based on Artificial Intelligence adopting a 14-inch or 16-inch format, in Intel or AMD editions, the latter being limited to the 14-inch.
Specifically, an HP ZBook Firefly G11 laptop relies on a hybrid Intel Meteor Lake:
– either Core Ultra 5 125U, Core Ultra 5 135U, Core Ultra 7 155U or Core Ultra 165U, with Iris Xe
integrated graphics – or Core Ultra 5 125H, Core Ultra 135H, Core Ultra 7 155H or Core Ultra 7 165H, with higher performance Intel Arc graphics
Or on an AMD Hawk Point, either Hexa Core Ryzen 5 5640HS with Radeon 760M, or Octo Core with Radeon 780M: Ryzen 7 8840HS, Ryzen 9 8940HS or Ryzen 9 8945HS.
As an option, a professional dedicated graphics card is provided under the Intel edition, the NVIDIA RTX A500 4 GB GDDR6 dedicated, which allows it to be ISV certified.
The core of an HP ZBook Firefly G11 also consists of a maximum RAM of 64GB DDR5 5600MHz and an M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD storage of 256GB to 2TB.
This laptop also has Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2, Intel AX211 or Mediatek RZ616), Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.0b, headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1) and 2 USB 4 Type-C Thunderbolt 4 for the Intel version against 2 USB 4 Type-C without Thunderbolt for the AMD edition.
4G and 5G modules are mentioned as options.

Biometric authentication can be done via Windows Hello technology and 2 factors (optional): a fingerprint reader and a 5.0 megapixel webcam with Infrared technology allowing facial recognition.
The standard webcam is 5.0 megapixels.
It comes with a splash-resistant backlit chiclet keyboard.
Rechargeable to 50% in 30 minutes, an HP ZBook Firefly G11 is robust thanks to its certification to the American military ruggedness standard MIL-STD-810H.
It features the Copilot button to quickly call up Windows 11 (Pro)’s AI-based virtual assistant and relies on a 3-cell 56Whr Li-Polymer battery paired with a 65W USB-C adapter.
Another operating system mentioned in place of Windows is Ubuntu, a Linux distribution.
The HP ZBook Firefly 14 G11 weighs 1.45 Kg and measures 415.7 x 224.4 x 19.2 mm.
It is equipped with a 14-inch 16/10th IPS display, either Full HD (1920×1200) anti-glare 300cd/m² 45% NTSC with touch option, or IPS Full HD 100% sRGB 400cd/m² with HP Sure View option with reduced viewing angles to avoid prying eyes, or IPS 2.5K (1260×1600) 120Hz 500cd/m² 100% DCI-P3.
The HP ZBook Firefly 16 G11 weighs 1.72 Kg and measures 358.7 x 251.3 x 19.2 mm, which allows it to accommodate a numeric keypad on the right.

It promises to have the same screen options as the 14-inch edition, but with a 16-inch panel obviously, with the added bonus of a DCI-P3 OLED option.
HP will announce pricing for the upcoming HP ZBook Firefly G11 laptops when they officially launch in April 2024.
