New thin and light compact laptop The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 with 14-inch 16/10th display offering a 2.8K DCI-P3 OLED option is based on an AMD Phoenix Ryzen 7040U processor, PCIe 4.0 SSD storage or connectivity with Wi-Fi 6E and 4G.
The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 is built around a low-power AMD Ryzen 7000 Ryzen 7040U Phoenix Ryzen 5 Pro 7540U Hexa Core processor integrating the Radeon 740M or Ryzen 7 Pro 7840U Octo Core graphics module with Radeon 780M.
It also relies on 16/32 GB LPDDR5x 6400MHz of soldered RAM as well as M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD storage in 2280 format with a capacity of 256 GB to 2 TB.
This new laptop offers Wi-Fi 6E (2×2, MediaTek RZ616 or Qualcomm NFA725A), Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI 2.1 (4K@60Hz), headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Ge,1, 1 Always On) and 2 USB 4 Type-C (40 Gbps).
Several sound options are also available: 4G (Fibocom L860-GL-16 or Quectel EM05-G) or 5G (Fibocom FM350-GL) modules, NFC chip and Smart Card reader.
The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 is adorned with a 14-inch 16/10th screen either IPS Full HD (1920×1200) 45% NTSC 300cd/m² 600:1 with 10-point multi-touch option, or IPS Full HD 100% sRGB 400cd/m² 800:1 low consumption, or IPS Full HD 100% sRGB 500cd/m² 1500:1 multi-touch touch, or IPS 2.2K (2240×1400) 100% sRGB 300cd/m² 1000:1 low consumption low blue light emission, or OLED 2.8K (2880×1800) 90Hz 400cd/m² 100% DCI-P3 DisplayHDR 500 low power 100000:1.
Above sits a Full HD 1080p webcam with microphone and Privacy shutter.
Optionally a 5.0 megapixel infrared webcam is planned, allowing biometric authentication by facial recognition through Windows Hello technology also exploitable by the fingerprint reader housed in the power button.

This laptop equipped with a 45W or 65W USB-C adapter offers a maximum advertised autonomy of 15 hours under Windows 11 (Pro) or the Linux Ubuntu distribution, thanks to its 57Whr Li-Polymer battery rechargeable by 80% in 1 hour via Rapid Charge technology.
Several editions of the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 are planned according to our information in France, mainly with 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB SSD, Full HD IPS panel, infrared webcam, fingerprint reader and 57Whr battery with 65W adapter.
