A new versatile Ultrabook, the MSI Summit E14 Evo A12M with a 14-inch 16/10th screen is built around an Intel Alder Lake-P processor accompanied by SSD storage and USB-C Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
The MSI Summit E14 Evo A12M is a new Ultrabook with a thin and light black Ink Black aluminum design that weighs 1.29 Kg and measures 319 x 215 x 15.9 mm.
Equipped with a 4-cell 72Whr Li-Polymer battery, it is based on an Alder Lake Intel processor and in particular Alder Lake-P, such as the Core i5-1240P (12 cores, 4P 1.75 GHz, 8E 1.2 GHz) or Core i7-1280P (14 cores, 6P 1.8 GHz, 8E 1.3 GHz), the 2 integrating the Intel Iris Xe graphics part.
This new versatile laptop also integrates Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2, Killer AX1675), Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI (4K@60Hz), audio combo Headphone / Microphone, 1 USB 3.2 (Gen2) and 2 USB 4 Type-C Thunderbolt 4 as well as a microSD card reader.
The display of this computer that rises slightly forward when opened is entrusted to a 14-inch 16/10th anti-glare IPS Full HD (1920×1200) 100% sRGB screen.
Above is a Full HD 720p infrared webcam allowing authentication by facial recognition via Windows Hello technology, technology also used by the fingerprint reader (FIDO 2 support) integrated into the glass touchpad for biometric recognition.
There are also 2 speakers (2 x 2W) and a backlit chiclet keyboard (white).
Also present at the heart of the MSI Summit E14 Evo A12M is M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage up to 1 TB and a maximum RAM of 32 GB LPDDR5 4800MHz of RAM (soldered).
The MSI Summit E14 Evo A12M which has a TPM 2.0 security chip runs on Windows 11 (Pro) and comes with a compact USB-C 65W charger.
Count about $1250 for an edition with Core i5, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD, and an additional $100 to upgrade to a Core i7.
