A new portable 15.6 inch screen called 16B1P3300 comes from the MMD brand Philips , which has an IPS panel with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and can achieve a maximum refresh rate of 75 Hz . The data sheet puts the contrast ratio at 700:1, the response time at 4 ms (grey to gray), the color depth at 8 bits and the luminance at 250 cd/m² .
The new product covers a meager 64 percent of the sRGB color space, can be used in landscape or portrait format and supports HDR10 . However, the latter shouldn’t be much fun due to the mediocre brightness values. On the interface side, there is a micro HDMI 2.0, a headphone output and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and a 15 watt power supply.
The rear base of the Philips 16B1P3300 also contains the connections and offers an incline adjustment. A blue light filter is also part of the equipment, as is a flicker-free backlight. The power requirement of the 1030 g, 15.6-inch model is 5.5 to 8.2 watts, depending on the operating mode. Unfortunately, the manufacturer still owes a release date and sales price. In any case, it is still unclear whether a German market launch is even planned.
