TeamGroup unveils its DDR5 T-FORCE DELTA TUF Gaming Alliance RGB in collaboration with Asus

TeamGroup expands its RAM range with the announcement of the T-FORCE DELTA TUF Gaming Alliance RGB DDR5 family. As the name suggests, it is a collaboration with the manufacturer Asus.

These DDR5 memory sticks are aimed at gamers who have “cracked” for the latest Intel platform aka Alder Lake-S. Offered through TeamGroupe’s T-FORCE gaming brand, these DELTA TUF Gaming Alliance RGB DDR5 solutions are equipped with a special dress. They are also guaranteed with optimal compatibility and reliability with Asus DDR5 motherboards.

customizableEvery bar is accompanied by a heat sink sandwiching its mechanics. The look offers a “military” style characteristic of “TUF Gaming” products. We find “camouflage” patterns. To this is added an RGB backlight on the top. The modules can be synchronized through the Asus Aura app. On the specification side we have an operating frequency calibrated at 6000 MHz and a dual channel kit with an overall capacity of 32 GB (2 x 16 GB).

Note that TeamGroup plans an identical approach with an M.2 SSD, the T-FORCE CARDEA TUF Gaming Alliance Z440 PCIe 4.0 SSD. However, we have no further information about him.

We have just received a new DDR5 kit with Hynix chips, the Delta RGB 6400 MT/s CL40 from the Teamgroup brand. Like you, we suffer from DDR5 availability problems, which is why we had to personally buy this memory kit. It is a real chance to have been able to acquire one so the availability is tiny in Europe and elsewhere in the world. As much to tell you right away that the price stings since we bought it in England and so we went through the BOX VAT and customs taxes.

In short, it is there and that is the most important! We have started testing on their ROG Maximus Z690 APEX paired with an i9-12900K. Unfortunately, it was impossible at first to boot with the XMP profile of their Teamgroup Delta RGB kit, which is 6400 MT/s with timings of 40-40-40-84 for a voltage of 1.35 volts. Fortunately, as usual, the ROG team is very responsive and we received a new BIOS 0093 this morning. Thanks to this BIOS, no more worries.

Here, just to make you wait until the test, the first results with their i9-12900K in stock and just their XMP profile activated in the BIOS. The least we can say is that it is ultra efficient!

We can’t wait to push this Teamgroup Delta RGB 6400 MT/s CL40 kit even further in overclocking to further increase its performance. Thanks to the Asus team for their responsiveness!
