Acer offers 2 11-inch ultraportables under Windows 11 SE targeting the educational world, the Acer TravelMate B3 TMB311-32 and Acer TravelMate Spin B3 TMB311R-32 convertible into a tablet based on Intel Celeron or Pentium Jasper Lake processor and Wi-Fi ax and USB-C connectivity but also 4G.
Certified MIL-STD-810H, these ultraportables are robust to withstand the assaults of children, such as pressures up to 60 Kg and drops up to 1.22m.
Nomads with their announced autonomy of 10 hours, they benefit from an antimicrobial design limiting germs.
The Acer TravelMate Spin B3 TMB311R-32 editions with 11.6-inch multi-touch screen are also covered with an antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Optional with this version are also provided a Wacom AES stylus that can be housed directly in the chassis on the right, as well as a 5.0 megapixel rear webcam.
As standard for the 2 models, the 11.6-inch screen adopts a classic definition WXGA HD (1366×768).
There is also a keyboard whose keys are mechanically anchored to secure them while facilitating their replacement if necessary, as well as a 14% post-consumer recycled plastic design.
Above all, the Acer TravelMate B3 TMB311-32 and Acer TravelMate Spin B3 TMB311R-32 laptops run Windows 11 SE, a special edition targeting the educational world by minimizing distractions through a simplified display while offering the most secure environment possible and promoting management and sharing by teachers.
These new ultraportables offer Wi-Fi 6 ax (2×2, Intel), Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1), 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen1), a microSD card reader and a 4G/LTE module option.
The Acer TravelMate B3 TMB311-32 and Acer TravelMate Spin B3 TMB311R-32 are built around a very low-power Intel processor (TDP 6W) Jasper Lake Celeron Dual Core N4500, Celeron Quad Core N5100 or Pentium Quad Core Silver N6000, all with a frequency of 1.1 GHz and integrating the Intel UHD graphics solution.
The Jasper Lake is paired with soldered RAM up to 8GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM as well as eMMC flash storage up to 128GB.
Acer tells us that it markets its Acer TravelMate B3 TMB311-32 and Acer TravelMate Spin B3 TMB311R-32 under Windows 11 SE from respectively 359 euros and 539 euros.
