A new versatile Ultrabook in 16/10th format, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 3 with 14-inch screen up to 2.8K OLED DCI-P3 with a fine and light silver or black design runs on Windows 11 with an Intel Alder Lake-P processor, PCIe 4.0 SSD storage or 5G, Wi-Fi ax and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity as well as a dual biometric authentication system.
The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 3 is a new Ultrabook that measures 317.5 x 226.9 x 16.9 mm.
It is announced in a Silver Storm Grey design in aluminum that weighs 1.45 Kg, as well as in Black Thunder Black with aluminum base and carbon fiber shell of 1.21 Kg.
This laptop integrates Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2, Intel AX211), Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI (4K@60Hz), audio combo Headphone / Mic, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 Always On) and 2 USB 4 Type-C Thunderbolt 4.
Optional nfc chip, a Smart Card reader and a 4G/LTE or 5G module via Nano-SIM slot are provided.
It is built around an Alder Lake Intel processor and more particularly Alder Lake-P, namely Core i5-1240P (12 cores, 1.7 GHz, 4P 8E), Core i5-1250P (12 cores, 1.7 GHz, 4P 8E), Core i7-1260P (12 cores, 2.1 GHz, 4P 8E), Core i7-1270P (12 cores, 2.2 GHz, 4P 8E) or Core i7-1280P (14 cores, 2.1 GHz, 6P 8E).
The core also consists of a low-power LPDDR5 4800MHz 8/16/32 GB (dual-channel) soldered RAM and M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD storage (2242 or 2280 format) with a maximum capacity of 2 TB.
The display is here entrusted to a 14-inch 16/10th anti-glare screen provided under various options: IPS Full HD (1920×1200) 300cd/m² 45% NSTC 600:1 multi-touch touch 10 points capacitive or not, IPS Full HD 400cd/m² 100% sRGB 800:1 touch or not, IPS 2.2K (2240×1400) 300cd/m² 100% sRGB 1000:1 with low blue light emission or IPS 2.8K (2880×1800) 500cd/m² 100% DCI-P3 HDR500 True Black 100000:1 anti-fingerprint.
The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 3 is also equipped with 2 speakers (2 x 2W) Dolby Audio, a splash-resistant chiclet keyboard with option of backlighting of the keys as well as 2 pointing systems combining the classic touchpad with the rarest and most accurate TrackPoint.
In addition, 2 biometric authentication solutions via Windows Hello are planned: the fingerprint reader integrated into the power button and the Infrared webcam.
A webcam may not be integrated as standard, we may be HD 720p or HD 1080p, all with Privacy Shutter to preserve privacy.
Depending on the configuration and in particular the panel chosen, this Ultrabook offers an announced autonomy of 8 hours to 13:30 with its Li-Polymer 57Whr rechargeable battery of 80% in 1 hour thanks to rapid charge technology.
The new Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 3 laptop runs on Windows 11 (Pro) or Ubuntu, a Linux distribution.
In France several editions are planned, mainly with Core i5-1240P or Core i7-1260P, 16/32 GB LPDDR5, SSD 512 GB, IpS Full HD panel, infrared webcam, fingerprint reader or backlit keyboard, all in Thunder Black under Windows 11.
