The Acer TravelMate P2 TMP214-54 and Acer TravelMate P2 TMP215-54 are new robust thin and light 14 and 15-inch Ultrabooks targeting professionals running Windows 11 with an Intel Alder Lake processor, PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, dual Infrared webcam authentication system fingerprint reader or Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, Thunderbolt 4 and 4G.
The Acer TravelMate P2 TMP214-54 is a rugged Ultrabook with its compliance with the US military resistance standard MIL-STD-810H.
To seduce professionals, it offers a double biometric authentication solution via the fingerprint reader and the Infrared webcam allowing facial recognition, and this through the Windows Hello technology associated with the TPM 2.0 security chip.
This laptop also offers 2 speakers as well as a backlit chiclet keyboard (1.55mm stroke).
It entrusts its display to a 14-inch IPS Full HD (1920×1080) anti-glare 16/9th screen.
Its core consists of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage with a maximum capacity of 1 TB, a maximum RAM of 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz or an Intel Alder Lake vPro processor, presumably a low-power Edition Alder Lake-U or Alder Lake-P with integrated graphics solution Iris Xe.
The Acer TravelMate P2 TMP214-54 also includes Wi-Fi 6E ax, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet and audio combo Headphone / Mic, 3 USB 3.2, 1 USB-C Thunderbolt 4 and an SD card reader.
The Acer TravelMate P2 TMP215-54 adopts a larger 15.6-inch format allowing it to house on the right of the keyboard a numeric keypad.
It weighs 1.7 Kg and measures 359.7 x 245.25 x 19.9 mm.
Acer tells us that its new Acer TravelMate P2 TMP215 range will be available from August 2022 from 799 euros.
