New business-oriented laptops the Asus ExpertBook B3 B3404CVA, Asus ExpertBook B3 B3404CVF, Asus ExpertBook B3 B3404CMA, Asus ExpertBook B3 B3604CVA, Asus ExpertBook B3 B3604CVF and Asus ExpertBook B3 B3604CMA in 14 and 16-inch formats are based on a new generation Intel Raptor Lake or Meteor Lake processor, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, PCIe 4.0 SSD storage or a 16:10 display up to 2.5K DCI-P3, all in relatively thin and light cases showcased at CES 2024.
The Asus ExpertBook B3 B3404CMA announced at CES 2024 is a new laptop that relies on a latest-generation Intel Core Ultra Meteor Lake processor, more precisely Meteor Lake-U with AI performance and integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, such as the Core Ultra 5 125U.
The Meteor Lake is paired with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM (2 slots) as well as M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
This Ultrabook includes Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2) or Wi-Fi 7 be, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, headphone/microphone combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 and 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4.
The Asus ExpertBook B3 B3404CMA has a 14-inch 16/10th IPS anti-glare Full HD (1920×1200) 300cd/m² 45% NTSC display.
A 720p HD webcam sits above with a microphone and privacy shutter in the form of a cover that can be slid in front to hide it.
There are also 2 speakers with Audio by Dirac as well as a splash-resistant backlit chiclet keyboard (1.5mm).
On the other hand, no biometric authentication option is mentioned, but this laptop is certified to the US military resistance standard MIL-STD-810H.
The Asus ExpertBook B3 B3404CMA which weighs 1.4 Kg and measures 313.7 x 226.8 x 19.9 mm runs Windows 11 (Pro) with a 3-cell 50Whr Li-Polymer battery coupled with a 65W USB-C adapter.
The Asus ExpertBook B3 B3404CVA stands out for its Raptor Lake processor options with integrated Iris Xe graphics module, and more specifically Raptor Lake-U as the Core i5-1335U or Raptor Lake-P as the Core i5-1340P.
It offers a SmartCard reader option.
The heavier and thicker Asus ExpertBook B3 B3404CVF weighs 1.67 Kg and measures 313.7 x 226.8 x 23.9 mm.
It must be said that it incorporates a larger capacity 3-cell 63Whr Li-Polymer battery associated with a 90W adapter.
But also an optional NVIDIA Ampere GeForce RTX 2050 4GB GDDR6 dedicated graphics card.
The display is entrusted to a 14-inch 16/10th IPS 2.5K (2560×1600) 500cd/m² 100% DCI-P3 screen which hosts a Full HD privacy shutter infrared webcam above which you can authenticate yourself biometrically by facial recognition via Windows Hello technology.
The Asus ExpertBook B3 B3604C stands out from the 14-inch edition by its weight of 1.78 Kg to 1.91 Kg for dimensions of 358 x 254.3 x 20.3 mm or 24.3 mm thick depending on the configuration.
These more comfortable dimensions allow it to accommodate a numeric keypad on the right side of the chiclet keyboard.

The Asus ExpertBook B3 B3604CVF runs on a Meteor Lake processor and has 2 USB 3.2 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4.
The Asus ExpertBook B3 B3604CMA and Asus ExpertBook B3 B3604CVA run on a Raptor Lake processor with 2 USB 3.2 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2) 1 USB-C Thunderbolt 4.
For the moment, Asus does not communicate on the prices and release date of its new Asus ExpertBook B3.
