The general performance it delivers is indeed able to satisfy many users because it is based on 8 GB of RAM and a low-power Ice Lake Quad Core i7-1065G7 processor that we tested .
However, it should be borne in mind that if one wishes to carry out intensive work in processor resources on a very regular basis, it is better to turn to a PC with a non-low consumption processor.
Ditto if using software / games heavy in graphics resources. However, despite the absence of a dedicated on-board graphics card, you can watch photos and videos on this lightweight laptop but also play titles that are not too demanding in 3D resources, thanks to the Iris Plus G7 graphics solution tested by us. significantly more efficient than the classic Intel UHD 620.
On the storage side, there is an SSD that rivals hard drives in terms of capacity (standard) of 512 GB while being silent, less energy intensive, more robust and much faster.
In concrete terms, the SSD provides much better responsiveness and fluidity on a daily basis than a simple hard drive. This implies, for example, much faster application launches like starts / stops, but also a faster arrival on the maps of online games.
Of course, if you need more space, you can use an external storage unit such as a USB-C / USB 3.0 device to benefit from fast transfers.
As for autonomy, bet on about 5 hours on battery in light use for this computer whose weight facilitates the transport which is not however as easy as for an Ultrabook by its thickness.
