Gigabyte launches its Aero 14K v8 B50W10P-FR, a new versatile game oriented Ultrabook equipped with a latest generation Hexa Core Coffee Lake processor. It includes a dedicated SSD storage solution of significant capacity, a good amount of RAM, an NVIDIA Pascal GTX Ti dedicated graphics card coupled with Optimus technology, a 14-inch QHD IPS anti-glare screen, a USB 3.1 Type-C Thunderbolt 3 connection. or a backlit chiclet keyboard, all for less than 1800 euros .
It is a relatively sober and elegant design that sports this Ultrabook with its fine and black design.
It has Fan Tweak to switch between 3 modes of operation: Turbo for maximum cooling, Stealth for discrete use and Auto for optimized settings.

The Gigabyte Aero 14K v8 B50W10P-FR is for those who wish to equip themselves with a versatile, high-performance, game-oriented and yet compact laptop.
It adopts indeed a thin and light Ultrabook format facilitating its transport although it integrates powerful components.
We thus found integrated a good amount of RAM of 16 GB associated with a processor Coffee Lake last generation, the Core i7-8750H. It provides significantly faster processing under the software exploiting its 6 cores compared to a Quad Core i7-7700HQ Kaby Lake as shown by the first tests .
Thus, this versatile Ultrabook delivers a global power able to fill the most demanding users, especially since it is very responsive daily thanks to its dedicated SSD storage. With 512 GB, the SSD competes with hard drives in terms of capacity while being much faster, more energy efficient, more robust and quiet.
This computer is also able to run a maximum of games thanks to its dedicated card GeForce GTX 1050 Ti version 4 GB dedicated on board, and this if we proceed to adjustments under the titles demanding the most graphic resources to get good playability.
In practice, the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is solicited by embedded NVIDIA Optimus technology when it comes to performing graphic processing deemed too heavy for the Intel UHD 630 housed within the Core 6 Core i7-8750H. Despite its modest benefits, the Intel UHD 630 is indeed maximized by Optimus because its reduced energy consumption promotes autonomy. As needed, Optimus switches automatically and in real time between the Intel UHD 630 and the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, both of which allow you to watch photos and videos.
The screen lends itself well to this use with its 16 / 9th format and its rather special QHD definition since superior to Full HD without reaching 4K. IPS, the screen offers in all cases a more accurate colorimetry than average and viewing angles very comfortable, both horizontally and vertically. Thanks to its antireflection treatment, the screen is also more legible than a bright slab in a bright environment.
Of course, the keyboard chiclet can be backlighted which is very convenient to discern its keys in the dark. In order to seduce players, customizable macro keys are present on the left side.
Finally, the onboard connectivity is good, consisting of 1 USB 3.1 Type-C Thunderbolt 3, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi ac modules to communicate and connect remotely wireless, HDMI video outputs and mini-DisplayPort useful for easily connect this Ultrabook to a monitor or TV for example, Ethernet and audio ports as well as 3 USB 3.1 including 1 USB 3.1 Gen2 (compatible USB 2.0) ensuring transfers taking place up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if USB 3.0 / .1 devices are connected to it.
