New 14-inch 2K display laptop in 3:2 aspect ratio, the 2022 Honor MagicBook 14 is available in AMD edition with Rembrandt processor up to Ryzen 7 6800H with SSD storage and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, all in a thin and light chassis.
The Honor MagicBook 14 2022 is a new compact laptop that weighs 1.55Kg and measures 307.51 x 224.56 x 16.9 mm.
It is equipped with a screen with thin edges 4.9mm and 3:2 format much squarer than the classic 16/9th, a 14-inch IPS 2K (2160×1440) 300cd/m² 100% sRGB 1500:1 with low blue light emission and Corning Gorilla Glass coating to protect it.
At the heart of this laptop, we find an AMD APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) Rembrandt processor either Hexa Core Ryzen 5 6600H (3.3 GHz) with Radeon 660M graphics module, or Octo Core Ryzen 7 6800H (3.2 GHz) with Radeon 680M.
The core also consists of 16GB LPDDR5 6400MHz of soldered RAM as well as M.2 NVMe SSD storage.
The new Honor MagicBook 14 2022 AMD edition also integrates Wi-Fi 6 ax connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 2.0 (4K@60Hz), headphone/mic combo audio, 1 USB 3.2 (Gen1), 2 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2) but also NFC to easily link the PC to an Honor Smartphone for example.
In addition, the power button hosts a fingerprint reader to authenticate biometrically via Windows Hello technology.
There are also 2 Nahimic speakers, a 720p HD webcam with microphone and a backlit chiclet keyboard.
Expected in Star Grey (dark silver) and Glacier Silver (light silver) designs, the 2022 AMD Honor MagicBook 14 offers an advertised battery life of 13 hours surfing the Internet and 17 hours of local video playback.
It can be recharged to 70% in 1h, and completely in 1h40, while its cooling is entrusted to 2 fans (20dB), heat pipes and air outlets.
In China the AMD Honor MagicBook 14 2022 is displayed around 750 euros with Ryzen 5, 16 GB of RAM and SSD 512 GB, and around 820 euros to get a Ryzen 7.
