Rechargeable to about 50% in 45 minutes, this Ultrabook has a discreet look with its ebony black design.
It runs on Windows 10S, security-focused edition by only allowing installation from Windows Store. That said if you wish, you can exit S> mode to migrate to classic Windows 10.
This thin and light laptop PC benefits from a good connection which does not have to be ashamed compared to that of many more expensive models. There is indeed 1 USB-C, Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 4.2 modules for wireless remote connections and communications, a useful HDMI video output to easily connect it to a TV or monitor for example, ports Ethernet and audio without forgetting 2 USB 3.0 (compatible at the same time USB 2.0) guaranteeing transfers carried out up to 10 times faster than in USB 2.0 if one connects USB 3.0 peripherals above.
The screen adopts a 16: 9 format suitable for video playback as well as a definition of 1366×768, classic specifications for a 15-inch. However, it is distinguished by its anti-reflective treatment making it more readable than a shiny panel in a bright environment (eg outdoors).
Performance, autonomy of the HP 15s-fq2004nf
The HP 15s-fq2004nf is a thin and light 15 inch laptop designed for everyday use.
In this field, as in Internet surfing and office automation but also content multitasking, it delivers good performance because it incorporates 4 GB of RAM coupled with a low consumption Intel Tiger Lake Core i3-1115G4 processor.
If the latter reveals its limits in applications that are greedy in processor resources (like the AMD Ryzen 3 and less powerful processors), it has the advantage of housing the Intel UHD G4 graphics part within it.
The Intel G4 is more efficient than the Intel UHD 620. In practice, we can therefore watch photos and videos but also play titles that do not consume much graphics resources on this sober Ultrabook.
Another advantage of this thin and light laptop PC, its SSD storage which clearly reinforces the responsiveness and fluidity on a daily basis compared to a simple hard drive.
Thanks to the SSD, starts / stops are faster just like application launches.
Because an SSD is much faster than a hard drive but also more robust, less energy-consuming and silent.
The capacity of 128 GB of the integrated SSD is however limited, lower than the standard of hard disks. That said, it may be enough for storing and installing and lightweight files and software.
And then if you need more space, you always have the option of relying on an external storage unit such as a USB-C / USB 3.0 device to take advantage of fast transfers.
As for autonomy, bet on about 6 hours of battery operation in light use for this Ultrabook whose transport is facilitated by the controlled weight and finesse.
