The new HP Envy 17 is a versatile large-format multimedia laptop with a 17-inch display up to 4K DCI-P3 that runs on Intel Raptor Lake-U processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card, SSD storage, infrared webcam or Wi-Fi 6E and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity.
The new HP Envy 17 of 2023 weighs 2.5 Kg and runs Windows 11 (Pro) with a 55Whr battery.
It offers Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2), Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.1, headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 and 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4.
This laptop is built around a Raptor Lake Intel Core 13th generation low-power hybrid Raptor Lake-U (15W) processor with Iris Xe graphics, like the Core i3-1315U, Core i5-1335U or Core i7-1355U.
The core of this computer also consists of RAM up to 32GB DDR4 3200MHz as well as M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage with a maximum capacity of 1TB.
An optional NVIDIA dedicated graphics card is planned, up to the GeForce RTX 3050 ray tracing 4GB GDDR6 dedicated Ampere.
The display is entrusted here to a 17.3-inch 16/9th anti-glare screen either IPS Full HD (1920×1080) 100% sRGB 300cd/m² with multi-touch touch option, or IPS 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) 100% DCI-P3 with low blue light emission 400cd/m².
Above there is an infrared webcam allowing biometric authentication by facial recognition via Windows Hello.
Also included is a Bang&Olufsen sound solution with 2 speakers and a backlit chiclet keyboard with numeric keypad.
The new HP Envy 17 2023 Raptor Lake is expected for this month of May from 1150 dollars.
