Efficient in current use with its Quad Core i5 Ice Lake processor, it sees its reactivity reinforced by its fast SSD storage whose capacity is however limited. The keyboard can obviously be backlit which is very practical to distinguish its keys in dim light.

Performance, battery life of the HP Pavilion 15-cs3021nf
The HP Pavilion 15-cs3021nf is a compact 15-inch High Definition laptop designed for versatile and multimedia-oriented use.
Thanks to the on-board dedicated GeForce GTX 1050 3 GB graphics card, processing is accelerated under software that takes advantage of GPU computing power, such as Adobe Premiere / Photoshop or Sony Vegas.
The GeForce GTX 1050 is also capable of supporting many games if we make adaptations under titles that consume graphics resources to obtain good fluidity.
In practice, the GeForce GTX 1050 is activated / deactivated automatically and in real time by the onboard NVIDIA Optimus technology, depending on the tasks performed.
Optimus favors as much as possible the Intel UHD 630 solution integrated into the processor despite its modest benefits because it is energy efficient and therefore promotes autonomy. The GTX 1050 is therefore activated by Optimus to perform graphics processing that is too heavy for the Intel UHD 630, the 2 obviously allowing to watch photos and videos.
In comparison, the heart of this computer is less powerful but still delivers good general performance capable of satisfying a number of users, with the exception of those who wish to regularly perform demanding work in processor resources. These will benefit from turning instead to a PC with a non-low power processor.
Because it is a low consumption processor Ice Lake Quad Core i5-1035G1 that integrates this Ultrabook also equipped with 8 GB of RAM. This duo is supported on a daily basis by dedicated SSD storage.
Thanks to the SSD, we benefit from much faster start / stop and launch of software / games, and more generally a significantly more responsive and fluid operation than with a simple hard drive.
The SSD also goes very well with the graphics card and makes it possible, for example, to reach maps of online games faster.
The downside, its capacity limited to 256 GB. It is certainly sufficient for a number of uses but at this price level, we expect better.
In any case, you can always turn to an external storage unit such as a USB 3.0 device for fast transfers.
As for the autonomy of this Ultrabook whose transport is facilitated by the smoothness and the weight contained within 2 Kg, count on approximately 6 hours of operation on battery in light use.
