Chassis, connectors, screen of the HP Pavilion x360 14-dw1000nf

Rechargeable to 50% in 45 minutes, it has an elegant, sober and nonetheless original look thanks to its natural silver case with a painted cover and base, and an anodized sand-finish keyboard frame that can be opened 360 ° to transform into a Tablet.

Because the screen is adorned with multi-touch touch technology: by pressing / gesturing at least one finger applied to the screen, you can interact with the system and the software.
Due to its tactile aspect, the screen is brilliant and therefore gives color punch but is subject to reflections in bright environments (eg outdoors).

Thanks to its IPS technology, the screen also benefits from significant vertical and horizontal viewing angles. Its colorimetry is however average, lower than that of more high-end IPS panels. In any case, the screen lends itself well to displaying videos and more generally High Definition content thanks to its 16: 9 format and precise Full HD definition.

The chiclet keyboard is not equipped with a key backlighting system, which is unfortunate at this price level.

Performance, battery life of the HP Pavilion x360 14-dw1000nf

The HP Pavilion x360 14-dw1000nf is a responsive compact High Definition laptop designed for everyday general-purpose use and convertible into a Tablet.

Easy to carry due to its compactness, thinness and light weight, this 2-in-1 Ultrabook can last about 7 hours on battery power in light use.

The general performance it delivers is able to satisfy many users because it incorporates a good amount of 16 GB RAM above average as well as a low power Tiger Lake i7-1165G7 Quad Core processor.

However, it should be borne in mind that to often perform work that consumes processor resources, it is better to turn to a PC based on a non-low consumption processor.

Here, graphics processing is only supported by the Iris Xe solution integrated into the Tiger Lake Quad Core i7, since this hybrid laptop PC does not have a dedicated graphics card.

Tested by us, the Iris Xe has the advantage of being significantly more efficient than the classic Intel UHD 620. Concretely thanks to the Intel Iris Xe, we can watch photos and videos but also play not too much titles. demanding in graphic resources.

In terms of storage, HP has chosen a silent SSD but also more robust than a hard drive, less energy and much faster.

Thanks to the SSD, we take advantage, for example, of application launches, processing and starts / stops much faster than with a hard drive, or even faster arrival on the cards of online games.

With its 512 GB, the SSD here offers a capacity similar to the standard of hard drives.
In case you need more space, you can rely on an external storage unit. Opting for a USB 3.0 / USB-C device then represents an interesting solution to benefit from fast transfers.
