A new colorful 14-inch Ultrabook, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14IAL7 built around an Intel Alder Lake-U or Alder Lake-P processor and an NVIDIA graphics card as well as M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage runs on Windows 11 and is equipped with Wi-Fi ax and USB-C connectivity.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14IAL7 is based on an Intel Alder Lake processor and more precisely Alder Lake-U Core i3-1215U (6 cores, 1.2 GHz, 2P 4E), Core i5-1235U (10 cores, 1.3 GHz, 2P 8E) or Core i5-1235U (10 cores, 1.3 GHz, 2P 8E), or Alder Lake-P, either Core i5-1240P (12 cores, 1.7 GHz, 4P 8E) or Core i7-1260P (12 cores, 2.1 GHz, 4P 8E).
All of them incorporate an Iris Xe graphics solution and are associated with 8/16 GB DDR4 3200MHz of soldered RAM and M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD storage in 2242/2280 format of 256/512 GB or 1 TB.
Optionally a dedicated NVIDIA Turing graphics card is embedded, the GeForce MX550 2 GB GDDR6 dedicated.
This Ultrabook has Wi-Fi 6 ax (2×2), Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 1.4b, audio combo Headphone / Mic, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 Always On) and 2 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen1) as well as a 4-in-1 SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC card reader.
On the display side, 3 options of 14-inch anti-glare Full HD screen are planned: TN 250cd/m² 45% NTSC 500:1, IPS 300cd/m² 45% NTSC 700:1 and IPS 300cd/m² 100% sRGB 1200:1.
A 720p or 1080p HD webcam with microphone sits above with privacy shutter to preserve privacy.
Also part of the part are 2 speakers (2 x 2W) Dolby Audio as well as a chiclet keyboard with option of backlight of the keys.
Optionally, a fingerprint reader is integrated into the power button to authenticate biometrically using Windows Hello technology.
Announced in Abyss Blue (dark blue), Storm Blue (light blue), Cloud Grey (light silver) and Storm Grey (dark silver), the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14IAL7 adopts an anodized chassis with aluminum shell and plastic base, or all aluminum.
In the first case, it measures 321.69 x 211.84 x 17.9 mm, compared to a greater fineness of 16.9 mm for aluminum editions.
In addition, 2 battery options are provided, with Rapid Charge Boost technology allowing a recharge of 2 hours in just 15 minuces.
These are Li-Polymer 44.5Whr ensuring an autonomy of 5h20 for a weight of 1.42 Kg, and Li-Polymer 56.5Whr for an autonomy of 7 hours and a weight of 1.44 Kg.
In France the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14IAL7 is planned with a Core i5-1235U, 16 GB DDR4, SSD 512 GB, IPS Full HD panel, Full HD webcam, backlit keyboard, biometric reader and Storm Grey aluminum design.
