It sports an elegant and discreet design with its thin and light Platinum Gray frame crafted in aluminum.
In terms of connectivity, this Ultrabook is well equipped with its USB 3.1 Type-C, its wireless Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi ac modules to communicate and connect remotely, its useful HDMI video output for easy connection to a TV or a monitor for example, its audio port without forgetting its 2 USB 3.0 (compatible USB 2.0) guaranteeing transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if you plug USB 3.0 peripherals.
As a biometric reader is integrated, we can authenticate by fingerprint recognition via Windows Hello technology.
A backlighting system also equips the chiclet keyboard, which is very practical for distinguishing its keys in the event of reduced ambient light.
The screen will be of interest to video enthusiasts and more generally High Definition content thanks to its 16: 9 format and precise Full HD definition. As it is anti-reflective, it also guarantees better visibility than a shiny panel in a bright environment (eg outdoors). Its colorimetry is however standard and its viewing angles higher than average but lower than those offered by an IPS panel.

Performance, battery life of Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14IIL05 (81YH0070FR)
The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14IIL05 (81YH0070FR) is a compact High Definition laptop PC designed for everyday mobile use.
It is easy to transport due to its compactness, smoothness and lightness. In addition side autonomy, we can expect about 11 hours of battery operation in light use, enough to use it for several hours away from a power outlet, and even more than a day’s work.
Despite everything, this Ultrabook delivers good general performance capable of satisfying many users because it is built around a low-consumption Ice Lake Quad Core i5-1035G1 processor and a good amount of 8 GB RAM.
However, it should be kept in mind that to perform CPU intensive work on a regular basis, it is better to turn to a PC based on a non-low consumption processor.
In addition, this Ultrabook is not designed for gaming and more generally demanding graphics processing because it does not embed a dedicated graphics card. Here, the graphics are fully supported by the Intel UHD 620 solution integrated into the Quad Core i5. Modest, it allows of course to look at photos and videos.
On the storage side, Lenovo makes the wise and logical choice of an SSD because it is more energy efficient than a hard drive while being more resistant to shocks, silent but also much faster.
Thanks to the SSD, this Ultrabook is significantly more responsive and fluid than if it were based on a simple hard drive. We therefore benefit, for example, thanks to the SSD of much faster starts / stops and launches of applications.
It is a 512 GB SSD that we find here integrated, a capacity in phase with the standard of hard drives. And if ever you need more space, you can of course rely on an external storage unit. Favoring a USB 3.0 device then represents an interesting option to benefit from fast transfers.
