Chassis, connectors, screen of Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14IIL05 (81X1001SFR)
With its Graphite Gray design, it sports a sober and elegant design. It stands out by the fact that it can be opened 360 ° to transform into a Tablet.
The screen adopts the 10-point multi-touch touchscreen technology: by applying at least one finger or the supplied Lenovo Digital Pen stylus to it, you can interact with the system and the software.
As it is tactile, the screen is brilliant: it therefore revives the colors but is sensitive to reflections in bright environments (eg outdoors). For the rest, the screen adopts a precise Full HD definition and a 16: 9 format lending itself well to video playback.
A biometric reader is present to authenticate via Windows Hello technology, and this by fingerprint recognition.
The chiclet keyboard benefits from a practical backlighting system for the keys to distinguish them correctly in a dimly lit environment.
This 2-in-1 Ultrabook is also well-equipped in terms of connectivity thanks to its USB 3.1 Type-C, its wireless Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi ac modules for communicating and connecting remotely, its practical HDMI video output to easily connect it to a TV or monitor for example, its audio port or even its 2 USB 3.0 (compatible with USB 2.0) guaranteeing transfers taking place up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if there is connects USB 3.0 devices.
Performance, battery life of Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14IIL05 (81X1001SFR)
The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14IIL05 (81X1001SFR) is for those looking for a compact High Definition laptop convertible into a Tablet for everyday mobile use.
Thanks to its low weight, compactness and finesse, this hybrid Ultrabook is quite easy to carry. In terms of autonomy, bet on about 8 hours of battery operation in light use.
To do this, this 2-in-1 Ultrabook relies on energy-efficient components such as its SSD storage. It is more energy efficient than a hard drive while being silent, more robust but also much faster. In addition here the on-board SSD offers a high capacity of 1 TB which easily rivals hard disks, enough to appeal to a maximum of users.
Because the SSD has the advantage of ensuring a much smoother and more responsive operation than a simple hard drive. On a daily basis, for example, we take advantage of much faster software launches, processing and start-ups / shutdowns, and we get to online games more quickly.
The SSD goes well with the heart of this convertible tablet computer. It consists of 8 GB of RAM as well as a Quad Core i7-1065G7 low power Ice Lake processor that we tested .
This duo delivers good general performance capable of satisfying many users.
However, keep in mind that to regularly perform CPU intensive work, it is better to opt for a PC based on a non-low power processor.
Although this thin and light PC is not equipped with a dedicated graphics card, it allows you to play titles that are not too demanding in terms of 3D resources, thanks to the Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7 graphics part which is positioned a little behind below the dedicated GeForce MX250 card. Of course with the Iris Plus G7, you can watch photos and videos.
Hi,
as hardware this machine can be good but I had a very bad experience, I bought this laptop on 2nd Dec-20 night and on early Friday morning 4th Dec-20 my wife was just browsing internet then she closed the laptop to prepare breakfast my kids open the laptop and found touch was not working when my wife restarted the windows they found out the touch screen has crack on it…….
No hard press
No Physical damage
Not even fallen any where
No idea how screen got broken without any physical damage and when took this machine to the vendor they simply said they cannot do anything. I don’t understand I had paid almost 1000 US$ for this piece of crap. Definitely there was something wrong with touch screen….. There must be a proper solution for this……
