Lenovo launches a new 12-inch professional ultraportable Lenovo ThinkPad A285 on the market. On the program, Quad Core AMD Ryzen processor, Full HD IPS screen, SSD storage or USB 3.1 Type-C and 4G connection.
The new Lenovo ThinkPad A285 ultraportable measures 307.7 x 209.8 x 17.4mm and weighs 1.26 Kg.
It offers 10 hours of talk time under Windows 10 Pro and can be 80% recharged in 60 minutes using RapidCharge technology.
Other technologies equip it to seduce the Pro as a 128-bit AES encryption solution or Windows Hello compatible with the integrated biometric readercoupled to a TPM 2.0 security chip but also the Infrared (IR) webcam with microphone.
Optionally a 720p HD webcam with microphone with ThinkShutter function (physical cache) is also provided.
Of course the chiclet keyboard is associated with a dual pointing system: the classic touchpad and the most accurate Trackpoint appreciated by the Pro.
To seduce them, the chassis is advertised in accordance with 12 military-grade standards and has passed more than 200 quality checks to ensure it can operate in extreme conditions.
The Lenovo ThinkPad A285 houses an AMD Ryzen 3 Pro 2300U low-power processor (2.0 GHz), Ryzen 5 Pro 2500U (2.0 GHz) or Ryzen 7 Pro 2500U (2.2 GHz) with a Vega 6 graphics solution. , Vega 8 and Vega 10.
The processor comes with 8/16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM and M12 NVMePCIe dedicated SSD storage up to 512 GB.
On the display side, several options are available. The 12.5-inch screen can thus be TN WXGA HD (1366×768) anti-glare or IPS Full HD (1920×1080) anti-glare or IPS Full HD glossy touch .
Connectivity side, the Lenovo ThinkPad A285 ultraportable has an SD card reader, a smart card reader, Wi-Fi modules ac (2×2), Bluetooth 4.2 and 4G / LTE (optional), an HDMI video output, an audio port, 2 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 3.1 Type-C including 1 Thunderbolt .
