The Lenovo Yoga 720-13IKBR (81C3005JFR) targets those who are looking for a compact high-definition laptop convertible tablet for everyday mobile use.
Side autonomy, it can indeed take about 8:30 battery on surfing the Internet via Wi-Fi, and of course in lighter use. In addition, its compactness and its weight content facilitate its transport.
Some people will regret that the screen is not anti-reflective, which would have allowed it to provide better visibility in bright environment than the brilliance of which it is decked out. Nevertheless, this brilliant treatment is due to the originality of this Ultrabook 2-in-1: its multitouch touch screen.
By applying at least one finger on the slab, via pressure / gestures, it is possible to interact with the system and software. As the screen can be completely flipped on the back of the keyboard, you can easily and quickly end up with a tablet in your hands.
IPS, the screen also reproduces colors more accurately than average and provides very comfortable viewing angles, both horizontally and vertically. Full HD, the screen also lends itself very well to the display of high definition content including videos in its 16 / 9th format.
Thanks to the Intel UHD 620 graphic part housed in the processor, it is of course possible to watch photos and videos on this hybrid Ultrabook which is not designed to play because it ignores a dedicated GPU.
Games aside, this computer delivers good overall performance with its 8GB of RAM and Quad Core i7-8550U low power Kaby Lake Refresh processor. Thanks to the latter, the software processing using the multicore architecture is realized more quickly than with a Kaby Lake Dual Core i7-7500U.
The storage entrusted to a dedicated SSD of 512 GB guarantees a fluidity and responsiveness significantly greater than if one were dealing with a hard disk. Compared to the latter, remember that a SSD is much faster while being more shock resistant, more energy efficient and quiet. Moreover, SSD competes with hard drives in terms of capacity, which is still quite rare for an integrated SSD.
On-board connectivity is also good, including Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi ac modules to communicate and connect remotely wireless, an audio port, 1 USB 3.1 or 2 USB 3.1 Type-C Thunderbolt 3.
Finally, the chiclet keyboard of this Ultrabook 2-in-1 can be backlit which is very practical to distinguish its keys in the dim light. In addition, one can identify easily and quickly on the system with the present fingerprint reader.
