A hybrid 2-in-1 laptop with a dual-screen 13-inch OLED 2.8K touchscreen convertible into a tablet, the new Lenovo Yoga Book 9 13IRU8 with its original thin and light nomadic aluminum design with its autonomy of 15 hours is based on an Intel Raptor Lake processor, PCIe 4.0 SSD storage or connectivity with Wi-Fi 6E and Thunderbolt 4.
The Lenovo Yoga Book 9 13IRU8 clearly stands out for its design combining 2 screens of 13.3 inches 16/10th OLED 2.8K (2880×1800) 400cd/m² 100% DCI-P3 DisplayHDR True Black 500 with 10-point capacitive multi-touch technology with anti-fingerprint treatment.
The touch function can be used with fingers or Lenovo Digital Pen 3 (4096 pressure levels).
We therefore find ourselves in the upper part as in the lower part usually devoted to the keyboard with 2 screens, and therefore with a double Tablet able to display elements of the same interface / software or different according to the needs.
A Yoga Book 9 Bluetooth KB chiclet keyboard is provided, communicating wirelessly with the dual-screen laptop. It can be positioned as a classic keyboard on a part of the secondary screen or completely detached.
Too bad, however, that it is not equipped with a backlight system.
The connectivity is also limited but in line with the compactness and thinness of the chassis: Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2), Bluetooth 5.1 and 3 USB 4 Type-C Thunderbolt 4.
The new Lenovo Yoga Book 9 13IRU8 is powered by a Raptor Lake Intel Core 13th generation low-power hybrid processor Raptor Lake-U (15W) Core i5-1335U or Core i7-1355U housing the Intel Iris Xe graphics solution.
At the heart of this dual-screen hybrid 2-in-1 laptop are also 16GB LPDDR5x 6400MHz of soldered RAM and M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD storage in 2242 format with a maximum capacity of 1TB.
Above the main screen sits a 5.0 megapixel infrared webcam with e-shutter to preserve privacy.
It is compatible with facial recognition and therefore biometric authentication via Windows Hello.
There are also 4 Bowers & Wilkins speakers combining 2 woofers (2 x 2W) with 2 tweeters (2 x 2W) Dolby Atmos Smart Amplifier.
The Lenovo Yoga Book 2 1IRU9 Ultrabook 13-in-8 runs Windows 11 (Pro) with an 80Whr Li-Polymer battery rechargeable by 60% in 1 hour thanks to Rapid Charge technology.
Equipped with a 65W USB-C adapter, it offers an advertised battery life of 15 hours in laptop mode, and 10 hours in dual-screen mode.
This new hybrid laptop with aluminum CNC design sandblasted finish Tidal Teal teal blue weighs 1.38 Kg and measures 299.1 x 203.9 x 15.95 mm.
According to our information, it is expected in France in at least 2 editions with Core i7 and SSD of 512 GB or 1 TB under Windows 11 classic.
It is expected for next July from 2299 euros.
