New thin and light compact laptop, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 6 with 14-inch screen of OLED Full HD at 2.8K 120Hz sRGB is built around an AMD Ryzen 7000 Phoenix processor, SSD storage or Wi-Fi 6E and USB-C connectivity.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 6 Gen 8 is a new compact 180° openable laptop that adopts a dark silver Storm Grey or light silver Misty Grey design.
It weighs 1.31 Kg, measures 312 x 221 x 14.9 mm and runs Windows 11 (Pro) with a 60/65Whr battery with Rapid Charge technology.

This laptop is based on a low-power AMD Ryzen 7000 Phoenix processor with Zen 4 architecture with a TDP of 15-28W housing a Radeon RDNA 3 graphics solution.
More specifically, it is about the Hexa Core Ryzen 5 7640U and Octo Core Ryzen 7 7840U.
The AMD Phoenix is paired with a low-power 8/16GB LPDDR5 5600MHz soldered RAM and up to 2TB M.1 NVMe SSD storage.
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 6 Gen 8 offers Wi-Fi 6/6E, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI 2.1, headphone/mic combo audio, 1 USB 3.2 (Gen1), 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen1) and 1 USB 4 Type-C (Power Delivery).

It is also equipped with a 14-inch 16/10th anti-glare Dolby Vision screen with low blue light emission either OLED Full HD (1920×1200) 400cd/m² 100% DCI-P3, or IPS 2.2K (2240×1400) 300cd/m² 100% sRGB or IPS 2.8K (2880×1880) 120Hz 400cd/m² 100% sRGB.
Above the screen there is a Full HD webcam with microphone and camera shutter to preserve privacy.

An infrared webcam option is planned, allowing biometric authentication via Windows Hello because its technology is compatible with facial recognition.
Also present are 2 speakers (2 x 2W) Dolby Atmos and a backlit chiclet keyboard.
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 6 Gen 8 – planned under the name Lenovo Slim 7 Gen 8 in North America – is scheduled for May 2023 from 899 euros.
