The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chrome 14IAN8 is a new 14-inch IPS sRGB laptop that runs Google Chrome OS with an Intel Alder Lake-N processor and Wi-Fi 6E and USB-C connectivity, all in a thin and light two-tone chassis for a battery life of 14 hours.
New laptop, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chrome 14IAN8 sports a two-tone Storm Grey aluminum design that weighs 1.45 Kg and measures 324.4 x 216.2 x 19.3 mm.
It offers an advertised autonomy of 14 hours under Google’s free Chrome OS system equipped with a 57Whr Li-Polymer battery rechargeable by 80% in 1 hour, associated depending on the configuration with a USB-C adapter of 45W or 65W.
This new laptop offers Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2, Intel AX211) or Wi-Fi 6 (2×2, Mediatek MT7921), Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI 1.4b, headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1) and 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2).
It is built around a very low power Intel Alder Lake-N processor (6W) Intel N100 processor or Intel N200 processor integrating within them an Intel UHD graphics part.
The Alder Lake-N is paired with 4/8GB LPDDR5 4800MHz of soldered RAM and 5/1/64GB soldered eMMC 128.256 flash storage.
The new Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chrome 14IAN8 is also equipped with a 14-inch anti-glare 16/9th screen either WXGA HD (1366×768) 45% NTSC 250cd/m² 400:1, or IPS Full HD (1920×1080) 45% NTSC 300cd/m² 700:1, or IPS Full HD touch multi-touch 10 points 100% sRGB 300cd/m² 1000:1.
We find above a 720p or 1080p HD webcam with microphone and shutter to preserve privacy.
Also included are 2 speakers (2 x 2W) Waves MaxxAudio as well as a splash-resistant chiclet keyboard with option of backlighting keys.
However, no biometric authentication solution is present.
