At its Next @ Acer 2020 conference in Taipei, Acer presented its new laptop products, including its new range of hybrid Chromebooks convertible into Tablets, the Chromebook Enterprise Spin 713 and Chromebook Spin 311. It also presents its new Ultrabook Acer Swift 5 equipped with the next generation Intel Tiger Lake processor.
Acer emphasizes that 2020 is the year of change. The brand announces that it wants to help its customers to work efficiently from home.
For this, several of the laptops it presents are equipped with anti-microbial technology .
In particular, it equips the new Chromebook Enterprise Spin 713 .
As a reminder, Chromebooks are devices running Google\’s free Chrome OS system , a market in which Acer claims to be number 1.
The Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 713 adopts a 3: 2 VertiView format that is more practical for certain uses, such as PowerPoint presentations.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 311 in 11.6 inch format is less efficient with its MediaTek M8183C Cortex-A173 / A53 processor, its 4 GB of RAM and its eMMC 32/64 GB storage. Its announced autonomy increases to 15 hours and it is more compact and light with its dimensions of 290 x 206 x 18.8mm and its weight of 1.05 Kg including 2 cell battery.
The Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 713 is expected in France for next August from 999 euros while the Acer Chromebook Spin 713 (without Chrome Entreprise Upgrade) is scheduled for July 2020 from 699 euros . Much more affordable, the Acer Chromebook Spin 311 will be marketed from 299 euros from August .
The new Acer Swift 5 is an Ultrabook which is also light since it weighs less than 1 Kg with 40Whr battery option, and 1.05 Kg with its 56Whr rechargeable battery from 4 hours in 30 minutes.
