The Asus ROG Flow X16 2-in-1 touch convertible into Tablet and Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 SE are new creator-oriented gaming laptops equipped with a 16/10th DCI-P3 screen from Full HD to 4K through frequencies from 165Hz to 360Hz equipped with an AMD Rembrandt processor up to the Ryzen 9 or Intel Alder Lake-H up to the Core i9, from a high-end NVIDIA Ampere graphics card to the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, Wi-Fi ax and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity or PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, all under Windows 11.
The new Asus ROG Flow X16 is a laptop that weighs 2.0 Kg, measures 355 x 243 x 19.4 mm and runs on Windows 11 with a 90Whr battery supporting Fast Charge technology.
It stands out for the fact that it can open 360 ° to transform into a Tablet thanks to its 16-inch multi-touch touch screen 16/10th IPS 2.5K (2560×1600) 100% DCI-P3 Pantone mini LED 165Hz 3ms 500cd/m², with option mini LED 1100cd/m² Nebula HDR DisplayHDR 1000 with 512 local dimming zones.
The screen is topped with an HD webcam accompanied by 4 Dolby Atmos Smart Amp speakers and a backlit RGB Aura N-Key Rollover chiclet keyboard (1.7mm stroke) but without a numeric keypad while this feature is standard from 15 inches.
It is built around an AMD APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) Rembrandt processor up to the Octo Core Ryzen 9 6900HS (3.3 GHz) with integrated graphics radeon 680M.
This is optionally supported by a dedicated NVIDIA Ampere ray tracing graphics card up to the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8 GB GDDR6 dedicated (80W, 125W with Dynamic Boost).
The heart of this gaming laptop also consists of M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage with a maximum capacity of 2 To, as well as a DDR5 4800MHz RAM (2 slots) climbing up to 64 GB.
